Nick Naumenko
Nicholas Naumenko (born July 7, 1974) is an American former professional ice hockey defenseman. He most notably played in the International Hockey League (IHL) and American Hockey League (AHL) before finishing his career with Europe in the Swiss National League A (NLA). Playing career Naumenko was drafted in the eighth round, 182nd overall, in the 1992 NHL Entry Draft by the St. Louis Blues. Naumenko played his college hockey at the University of North Dakota from 1992–96, during his time at UND he played in 146 game for the Fighting Sioux scoring 38 goals and adding 102 assists. Prior to college hockey he played two seasons in the USHL for the Rochester Mustangs and Dubuque Fighting Saints. Worcester IceCats
The Worcester IceCats were a US ice hockey team in the American Hockey League. They played in Worcester, Massachusetts, at the Worcester Centrum. In 2005 the team was renamed the Peoria Rivermen and moved to Peoria, Illinois. History The IceCats got their start when original New York Islanders owner Roy Boe purchased the Springfield Indians AHL franchise and moved it to Worcester in the summer of 1994. The team began play in the Fall of 1994 with a collection of free-agent players but as yet with no National Hockey League team affiliation. Late in the 1994–95 season, Boe and head coach/General Manager Jim Roberts negotiated a deal with the St. Louis Blues. From that point on the IceCats would be the Blues' premier minor league team. Gregg Naumenko
Gregg Naumenko (born March 30, 1977 in Chicago, Illinois) is an American former professional ice hockey goaltender. He played two seasons for the United States Hockey League, USHL's North Iowa Huskies and one season for the University of Alaska Anchorage before beginning his professional career. He played two games for the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim in 2001, spending the majority of his career in the minor leagues. Dubuque Fighting Saints (1980-2001)
The Dubuque Fighting Saints are a Tier I junior ice hockey team playing in the United States Hockey League (USHL) and are based in the city of Dubuque, Iowa, on the banks of the Mississippi River at the intersection of Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin. Home games are played at the Dubuque Ice Arena (capacity: 3,079). USHL
The United States Hockey League (USHL) is the top junior ice hockey league sanctioned by USA Hockey. The league consists of 16 active teams located in the midwestern United States, for players between the ages of 16 and 21. The USHL is strictly amateur, allowing former players to compete in National Collegiate Athletic Association, NCAA college hockey. The Chicago Steel won the Anderson Cup as the 2020–21 regular season champions and the 2021 Clark Cup, Clark Cup playoff championship; both were their second in franchise history. The North Dakota Fighting Hawks (formerly known as the Fighting Sioux) are the athletic teams that represent the University of North Dakota (UND), located in the city of Grand Forks, North Dakota. The National League (NL) is a professional ice hockey league in Switzerland and is the top tier of the Swiss league system. Prior to the 2017–18 season, the league was known as National League A. During the 2018–19 season, the league had an average of 6,949 spectators per game which is the highest among European leagues (ahead of the KHL with 6,397 and the DEL with 6,215).
