Nick Merkley
Nicholas Merkley (born May 23, 1997) is a Canadian professional ice hockey right winger currently playing under contract with HC Dinamo Minsk in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). Merkley was formerly rated as a top prospect who was widely projected to be a first round selection in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft. In the said Draft, he was selected 30th overall by the Arizona Coyotes, the final pick of the opening round. Playing career Merkley was selected ninth overall by the Kelowna Rockets in the 2012 WHL Bantam Draft. Kontinental Hockey League
The Kontinental Hockey League (KHL; russian: Континентальная хоккейная лига (КХЛ), Kontinental'naya khokkeynaya liga) is an international professional ice hockey league founded in 2008. Christián Jaroš (born 2 April 1996) is a Slovak professional ice hockey defenceman for Severstal Cherepovets of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). Jaroš was drafted 139th overall in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft by the Ottawa Senators. Playing career Jaros made his Swedish Hockey League debut playing with Luleå HF during the 2014–15 SHL season.
