Nick Johnson (basketball)
Nicholas Alexander Johnson (born December 22, 1992) is an American professional basketball player for the Beijing Ducks of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA). He played college basketball for the Arizona Wildcats before being drafted 42nd overall by the Houston Rockets in the 2014 NBA draft. High school career Johnson attended Highland High School in Gilbert, Arizona from 2007 to 2009, before transferring to Findlay Prep in Henderson, Nevada for his junior year. As a junior in 2009–10, he averaged 14.1 points, 4.6 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game as he led Findlay to a 32-2 record. In November 2010, he signed a National Letter of Intent to play college basketball at the University of Arizona. As a senior in 2010–11, he averaged 24.8 points, 6.5 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game as he led Findlay to a 28-4 record. Arizona Wildcats Men's Basketball
The Arizona Wildcats men's basketball team is the intercollegiate men's basketball program representing the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona. It competes in the Pac-12 Conference of NCAA Division I and is currently coached by Tommy Lloyd. Richard Elmer "Joey" Dorsey (born December 16, 1983) is an American professional basketball player for APOP Paphos B.C. of the Cyprus Basketball Division A. He played college basketball for the University of Memphis. College career During both his sophomore and junior years on the team, the Tigers ended their season in the NCAA tournament's Elite Eight. NBA Development League
The NBA G League, or simply the G League, is the National Basketball Association's (NBA) official minor league basketball organization. The league was known as the National Basketball Development League (NBDL) from 2001 to 2005, and the NBA Development League (NBA D-League) from 2005 until 2017. The league started with eight teams until NBA commissioner David Stern announced a plan to expand the NBA D-League to 15 teams and develop it into a true minor league farm system, with each NBA D-League team affiliated with one or more NBA teams in March 2005. The 2014 NBA Summer League consists of two pro basketball leagues organized by the NBA and the Orlando Magic just after the 2014 NBA Draft. Ten teams took part in the week-long summer league at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida, from July 5 to 11, 2014. The other summer league was the Las Vegas NBA Summer League, having taken place at the Thomas & Mack Center and Cox Pavilion in Paradise, Nevada ( near Las Vegas) from July 11 to 21, 2014, with 23 NBA teams and the NBA D-League Select team participating. The All-Pac-12 men's basketball team is an annual Pac-12 Conference honor bestowed on the best players in the conference following every college basketball season. Pac-12 coaches select a 10-player first team and a five-player second team. There were two five-man teams from 1956 though 1979, followed by one 10-man first team from 1980 through 2008. For one year in 2008, there were three five-man teams selected. During the final week of the regular season, Pac-12 coaches nominate up to three players from their team to be placed on the ballot for consideration.
