Nick Ebert
Nick Ebert (born May 11, 1994) is an American professional ice hockey defenseman who is currently under contract with Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). He was drafted in the seventh round, 211th overall, in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft by the Los Angeles Kings. Playing career Junior Ebert was drafted in the first round, 17th overall, by the Windsor Spitfires in the 2010 OHL Draft. Ebert was named to the OHL First All-Rookie Team at the conclusion of the 2010–2011 season. Originally considered to be a top draft pick, a poor sophomore season led to Ebert dropping to the seventh round of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft where he was picked by the Los Angeles Kings as the last pick in the draft. On December 3, 2013, he was traded to the Guelph Storm along with captain Kerby Rychel in exchange for Brody Milne and eight OHL Draft picks. The Hartford Wolf Pack are a professional ice hockey team based in Hartford, Connecticut. A member of the American Hockey League (AHL), they play their home games at the XL Center. The team was established in 1926 as the Providence Reds. After a series of relocations, the team moved to Hartford in 1997 as the Hartford Wolf Pack. It is one of the oldest professional hockey franchises in existence, and the oldest continuously operating minor league hockey franchise in North America. Manchester Monarchs (AHL)
The Manchester Monarchs were a professional ice hockey team in the American Hockey League (AHL). They played in Manchester, New Hampshire, at the Verizon Wireless Arena. They were the AHL affiliate of the National Hockey League (NHL) Los Angeles Kings during the team's entire existence. The Monarchs won their only Calder Cup in their final AHL season. For the 2015–16 season, the Monarchs traded places with the Kings' affiliate in the ECHL, the Ontario Reign. 2021 NHL Entry Draft
The 2021 NHL Entry Draft was the 59th NHL Entry Draft. The draft was held on July 23–24, 2021, delayed by one month from its normally scheduled time of June due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the later-than-normal finish of the 2020–21 NHL season. 2019–20 AHL Season
The 2019–20 AHL season was the 84th season of the American Hockey League. The regular season began October 4, 2019, and was officially cancelled on May 11, 2020. The 2020 Calder Cup playoffs, which was also cancelled, would have followed the conclusion of the regular season. The league suspended play on March 12, 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic in North America, and was not able to resume play. 2018–19 SHL Season
The 2018–19 SHL season was the 44th season of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). The regular season began in September 2018 and ended in March 2019. It was followed by the Swedish Championship playoffs and the relegation playoffs. The league consisted of 14 teams. The only new addition for this season was Timrå IK, who replaced Karlskrona HK after defeating them in the 2018 SHL qualifiers.
