Nick Dasovic
Nick Robert Dasovic (born December 5, 1968) is a Canadian former professional soccer player who played as a midfielder. He began his career with Croatian club HNK Segesta in 1988, followed by short stints at NK Dinamo Zagreb and NK Zagreb. He moved back to his homeland in 1991, playing first for North York Rockets, then the newly formed Montreal Impact in 1993. In 1995, he joined Vancouver 86ers before returning to Europe briefly to play for Stade Briochin. Another period with Vancouver 86ers in 1996 was followed by a short stint in Sweden with Trelleborgs FF. He finished his playing career with Scottish club St Johnstone, with whom he spent six years and made over 100 league appearances. He won promotion to the Scottish top flight in his first season in Perth. His coaching career began with Whitecaps FC Reserves in 2006. The Canada U-17 men's national soccer team (also known as Canada Under-17s or Canada U-17s ) represents Canada in international soccer at this age level. They are overseen by the Canadian Soccer Association, the governing body for soccer in Canada. The Canada U-20 men's national soccer team (also known as Canada Under-20s or Canada U-20s) represents Canada in international soccer at this age level. They are overseen by the Canadian Soccer Association, the governing body for soccer in Canada. It plays a large role in the development of Canadian soccer, and is considered to be the feeder team for the Canada men's national soccer team. The team has qualified for eight out of nineteen FIFA U-20 World Cups. Their best result came in 2003 where they reached the quarterfinals. Toronto FC Academy, also known as TFC Academy, is the youth academy and development system of Canadian Major League Soccer club Toronto FC. The academy has divisions from U14 to U19 and includes over 110 young players. The senior academy team is known as Toronto FC III. Vancouver Whitecaps Football Club is a Canadian professional soccer team based in Vancouver. They compete in Major League Soccer (MLS) as a member club of the league's Western Conference.
