Nicholas Rogers (politician)
Nicholas James Rogers (born 19 August 1985), commonly known as Nick Rogers, is a British Conservative Party politician. He is a member of the London Assembly representing South West London. Early life and education Rogers was born in 1985, the son of Neil Rogers and Fiona Dunn. He received a degree in Management from Royal Holloway, University of London. Career Since 2015, Rogers has been an incident controller at Network Rail. From 2016 to 2020, he was a director of TEDxKingstonUponThames. Royal Tunbridge Wells
Royal Tunbridge Wells is a town in Kent, England, southeast of central London. It lies close to the border with East Sussex on the northern edge of the High Weald, whose sandstone geology is exemplified by the rock formation High Rocks. The town was a spa in the Restoration and a fashionable resort in the mid-1700s under Beau Nash when the Pantiles, and its chalybeate spring, attracted visitors who wished to take the waters. Though its popularity as a spa town waned with the advent of sea bathing, the town still derives much of its income from tourism. The London Assembly is a 25-member elected body, part of the Greater London Authority, that scrutinises the activities of the Mayor of London and has the power, with a two-thirds super-majority, to amend the Mayor's annual budget and to reject the Mayor's draft statutory strategies. Royal Holloway, University of London (RHUL), formally incorporated as Royal Holloway and Bedford New College, is a public research university and a constituent college of the federal University of London. It has six schools, 21 academic departments and approximately 10,500 undergraduate and postgraduate students from over 100 countries. The campus is located west of Egham, Surrey, from central London.
