Nichaya Thaamboolam
''Nichaya Thamboolam'' () is a 1962 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film, directed and produced by B. S. Ranga. The film stars Sivaji Ganesan and Jamuna. It was released on 9 February 1962. The film was released in Telugu as ''Pelli Thambulam''. Plot A senior police officer, Ranganathan, has a spoilt son, Raghuraman. Ranganathan's wife (Raghu's mother) Kamakshi is a kind-hearted lady. Raghu falls in love with Seetha, is the daughter of a poor teacher, Ramanna. Ranganathan's family and Ramanna's family are related to each other. When Seetha born, both parents agreed that she should be married to Raghu and exchanged the Nichaya Thamboolam. However, due to their status, the families had been estranged from each other. Sivaji Ganesan
Villupuram Chinnaiya Manrayar Ganesamoorthy, better known by his stage name Sivaji Ganesan, (1 October 1928 – 21 July 2001) was an Indian actor and producer. He was active in Tamil cinema during the latter half of the 20th century. Sivaji Ganesan is acknowledged as one of the greatest Indian actors of all time and among the most imitated one by other actors. A ''raga'' or ''raag'' (; also ''raaga'' or ''ragam''; ) is a melodic framework for improvisation in Indian classical music akin to a melodic mode. The ''rāga'' is a unique and central feature of the classical Indian music tradition, and as a result has no direct translation to concepts in classical European music. Jamuna (born 30 August 1936) is an Indian actress, director and politician who appeared mainly in Telugu films. She made her acting debut at the age of 16 in Dr. Garikapati Rajarao's ''Puttillu'' (1953), and received her breakthrough with L. V. Prasad ''Missamma'' (1955).
