Nic Reid
Nicolas Reid (born 4 September 1995) is an Australian rules football, Australian rules footballer who played for the West Coast Eagles in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was recruited by through the 2019 AFL draft#Pre-season supplemental selection period, 2020 Pre-season supplemental selection period. Early football Reid played junior football for Claremont Football Club, Claremont. He then decided to not continue onto professional football and played amateur football for his local side, North Beach, Western Australia, North Beach Football Club. After kicking 48 goals in the 2018 season, he was selected to play for the Australian Football League reserves affiliations, reserves team in the Western Australian Football League (WAFL). In the 2019 WAFL season, he kicked 23 goals over the 15 games he played. Western Australian Football League
The West Australian Football League (WAFL) is an Australian rules football league based in Perth, Western Australia. The league currently consists of ten teams, which play each other in a 20-round season usually lasting from March to September, with the top five teams playing off in a finals series, culminating in a Grand Final. The league also runs reserves, colts (under-19) and women's competitions. The WAFL was founded in 1885 as the West Australian Football Association (WAFA), and has undergone a variety of name changes since then, re-adopting its current name in 2001. 2019 WAFL Season
The 2019 WAFL season (officially the 2019 Optus WAFL Premiership Season) was the 135th season of the various incarnations of the West Australian Football League (WAFL). 2020 AFL Season
The 2020 AFL season was the 124th season of the Australian Football League (AFL), the highest level senior men's Australian rules football competition in Australia, which was known as the Victorian Football League until 1989. The season featured eighteen clubs. Played during the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic, the season commenced on 19 March and was suspended four days later; it resumed on 11 June and ran until 24 October. A shortened season was played, comprising a 17-game home-and-away season followed by a finals series featuring the top eight clubs; all matches were shortened to 80% of their usual length. Hawthorn Football Club
The Hawthorn Football Club, nicknamed the Hawks, is a professional Australian rules football club based in Mulgrave, Victoria, that competes in the Australian Football League (AFL). Australian Football League Reserves Affiliations
The Australian Football League stages the highest-level senior Australian rules football competition in the country. The 2019 AFL draft consists of the various periods where the 18 clubs in the Australian Football League (AFL) can trade and recruit players following the completion of the 2019 AFL season. North Beach, Western Australia
North Beach is a northern coastal suburb of Perth, the capital city of Western Australia from Perth's central business district via Mitchell Freeway and Reid Highway. Its local government area is the City of Stirling. History The name North Beach began as a descriptive name, derived from the suburb being at the time the most northerly of Perth's beaches.
