Nguyễn Anh Vũ
Nguyễn Anh Vũ (born 1442), courtesy name Nguyễn Tạc Tổ, pen name Anh Vũ, was an officer under era of Emperor Lê Thánh Tông. He was a son of Scholar Nguyễn Trãi and Lady Phạm Thị Mẫn. In 1442, because of Mystery of Lệ Chi Viên, his family were totally exterminated, but his mother luckily escaped and gave birth to him as the name Phạm Anh Vũ. In 1464, Emperor Lê Thánh Tông officially pardoned Nguyễn Trãi and stating that he was wholly innocent in the death of Emperor Lê Thái Tông. Nguyễn Anh Vũ at that time successful passed Confucian court exam with title as ''hương cống''(鄉貢) and became an officer of Court. In some unofficial research, he has a sister named Ngọc Huyên (玉萱), or Nguyễn Thị Hằng, who later became Empress Trường Lạc hoàng hậu of Emperor Lê Thánh Tông Modern depiction He was portrayed by Huỳnh Đông in the 2012 Vietnamese movie ''Blood Letter''. Lê Thánh Tông
Lê Thánh Tông (黎聖宗; 25 August 1442 – 3 March 1497), personal name Lê Hạo, temple name Thánh Tông, courtesy name Tư Thành, was an emperor of Đại Việt, reigning from 1460 to 1497, the fifth and the longest-reigning emperor of the Later Lê dynasty, and is widely praised as one of the greatest emperors in Vietnamese history. He came to power through a coup d'état against his second brother Lê Nghi Dân in 1460. His reign is recognized for the extensive administrative, military, education, and fiscal reforms he instituted, and a cultural revolution that replaced the old traditional aristocracy with a generation of literati scholars. His era was eulogized as the Prospered reign of Hồng Đức (''Hồng Đức Thịnh trị;'' 洪德盛治). Nguyễn Trãi
Nguyễn Trãi (阮廌), pen name Ức Trai (抑齋); (1380–1442) was an illustrious Vietnamese Confucian scholar, a noted poet, a skilled politician and a master strategist. He was at times attributed with being capable of almost miraculous or mythical deeds in his designated capacity as a principal advisor of Lê Lợi, who fought against the Ming dynasty. He is credited with writing the important political statements of Lê Lợi and inspiring the Vietnamese populace to support open rebellion against the Ming dynasty rulers. He is also the author of "Great Proclamation upon the Pacification of the Wu" (Bình Ngô đại cáo). Lê Thái Tông (黎太宗 22 December 1423 – 28 August 1442), birth name Lê Nguyên Long (黎元龍), was the second emperor of the Later Lê dynasty from 1433 until his early death nine years later. __TOC__ Biography Lê Thái Tông was the second son of Lê Lợi. Although his mother died when he was at a young age, he was considered as bright and capable as his father was. When Lê Lợi became sick in 1433, he summoned his closest advisors (Lê Sát, Trịnh Khả, Pham Van Sao, Nguyễn Trãi, Tran Nguyen Han, and Le Ngan) to name Lê Thái Tông as his heir to the throne. Nguyễn Thị Huyên ( vi-hantu, 阮氏晅, 1441 - 1505) was a queen consort of Later Lê dynasty. She was the wife of emperor Lê Thánh Tông and mother of emperor Lê Hiến Tông. Biography Empress Nguyễn Thị Huyên was born in 1441 at Gia Miêu outer village, Tống Sơn district, Hà Trung local government, Thanh Hóa, Thanh Hoa town. She was the daughter of the Duke Nguyễn Công Lộ and foster daughter of the officer Nguyễn Đức Trung.
