Ngaiire
Ngaire Laun Joseph (born 1984, in Lae), known by her stage name Ngaiire (pronounced ''ny-ree'' or /naɪəriː/), is a Papua New Guinea-born Australian-based R&B and future soul singer-songwriter. Her musical career commenced in 2003 with an enrollment in a bachelor of Jazz Studies at the Central Queensland University (CQU). In 2004, she competed in the second season of ''Australian Idol'', where she competed as a semi-finalist but did not make it to the final 12 singers. She then worked with Blue King Brown and Paul Mac as a session vocalist before re-focusing on her solo career in 2008. Ngaiire's debut studio album, ''Lamentations'', was released in July 2013 and her second album, '' Blastoma'', was released in June 2016. Her third, '' 3'', was released in August 2021. In 2018 APRA AMCOS appointed Ngaiire as an ambassador. ''3'' is the third studio album by Papua New Guinea-born Australian-based singer Ngaiire, released on 27 August 2021. At the 2021 ARIA Music Awards, the album was nominated for ARIA Award for Best Soul/R&B Release, Best Soul/R&B Release and ARIA Award for Breakthrough Artist - Release, Breakthrough Artist - Release, Ngaiire was nominated for ARIA Award for Best Artist, Best Artist. Australian Idol (season 2)
The second season of '' Australian Idol'' debuted on 13 July 2004. Over 50,000 people throughout Australia auditioned. Overview As well as the five larger cities, the judges also visited Canberra, Hobart, Darwin and Tamworth this year. Of the twelve finalists, three were from Sydney, two were from Melbourne, and one each from Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Hobart, Perth, Canberra, Adelaide and Bega. The controversial winner was Casey Donovan. Runner up Anthony Callea, Courtney Murphy (3rd), Hayley Jensen (4th) and Chanel Cole (5th). The final 2, as well as Ricki-Lee Coulter (7th), were the only contestants of the Top 12 to score hits, with Callea ending up the highest seller with his first release of "The Prayer" being named the second highest selling song of the last decade by ARIA in January 2009. Paul Mac
Paul Francis McDermott (born 17 September 1965), who performs as Paul Mac, is an Australian electropop musician, singer-songwriter, producer and music re-mixer. He was classically trained at Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Mac has formed various bands including Smash Mac Mac (1986–88), The Lab (1989–1998), Itch-E and Scratch-E (1991–present), Boo Boo Mace & Nutcase (1996–98), and The Dissociatives (2003–2005). Kadina High School
Kadina High Campus, part of The Rivers Secondary College, is a government-funded co-educational comprehensive secondary day school campus, located in Goonellabah, a suburb of Lismore, in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales, Australia. Rabaul () is a township in the East New Britain province of Papua New Guinea, on the island of New Britain. It lies about 600 kilometres to the east of the island of New Guinea.
