Kru Interactive (now known as Nexon Inc.) is among the pioneers of online gaming and MMORPGs. Its headquarters is located in Santa Clara, California. KRU or Kru Interactive The South Korea-based game company made a name for itself in the early 1990s. Kru launched '' Nexus: The Kingdom of the Winds'' in 1997, Dark Ages in 1999. Shattered Galaxy, the award winning and first massive online RTS game, was introduced in 2001. KRU was a Malaysian pop boy band formed in 1992. The group comprises three brothers, namely Datuk Norman Abdul Halim, Datuk Yusry Abdul Halim and Edry Abdul Halim'. Apart from revolutionising the Malaysian music scene with their blend of pop, R&B and hip hop, Dato' Norman Abdul Halim heads a successful business empire, KRU Studios, with Dato' Yusry Abdul Halim specialising in film, media content and live events, whilst Edry Abdul Halim is a successful composer/producer. ''Shattered Galaxy'' is a massively multiplayer online real-time strategy game (MMORTS) that was released in 2001 by KRU InteractiveNexon Inc., ., now known as KRU Interactive, Nexon Inc, after an extensive Beta Version, open beta period. In the US, it was published by Tri Synergy. It combines the attributes of a MMORPG, massive multiplayer online role-playing game and a real-time strategy game. Seumas McNally
Seumas McNally (pronounced Shem-Ess) (February 10, 1979 – March 21, 2000) was a Canadian video game programmer and designer. He is best known for indie games, notably ''DX-Ball'' and '' Tread Marks'', which won the Grand Prize at the Independent Games Festival (IGF). The award was posthumously renamed in his honour when he died at age 21 of Hodgkin's lymphoma, shortly after having received the award himself.
