Stacie Curtis
Stacie Curtis (born Devereaux; May 27, 1986) is a curler originally from St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. She is a four-time provincial junior champion, three time provincial women's champion and 2007 Canadian Junior champion and World Junior silver medalist. Curling career Curtis represented Newfoundland and Labrador at the 2003 Canada Games, placing 7th. Curtis won her first provincial junior championship in 2004. Her debut performance as skip of team Newfoundland and Labrador at the 2004 Canadian Junior Curling Championships was somewhat successful, the rink finished with an 8–4 record, just missing the playoffs. Devereaux would win her second straight provincial junior crown the following year. Her record at the 2005 Canadian Junior Curling Championships was not as great, having finished with a 5–7 record. Heather Strong (born November 9, 1976, in St. John's, Newfoundland) is a Canadian curler. Career Juniors Strong was 15 years old when she made her national debut at the 1992 Canadian Junior Curling Championships playing lead stones for Cheryl Cofield. The team had a difficult run at the event, finishing round robin with a 4–7 record. Strong returned to the 1995 Canadian Junior Curling Championships, this time skipping her own team. She won only two games, finishing round robin in last place with a 2–9 record. The following year Strong returned to the 1996 Canadian Juniors, this time coming out with a better record. The team finished round robin in a four-way tie for third. The team lost the tiebreaker to Saskatchewan's Cindy Street. Strong's final junior appearance was at the 1997 Canadian Junior Curling Championships. Erica Curtis (born June 12, 1991 as Erica Trickett) is a Canadian curler from Paradise, Newfoundland and Labrador. She currently plays third on Team Stacie Curtis. Career Curtis made three appearances at the Canadian Junior Curling Championships in 2008, 2011 and 2012. In 2008, she finished 5–7 as lead for Julie Devereaux. In 2011, she again finished 5–7 this time as lead for Erin Porter. Her final trip in 2012, she skipped the Newfoundland and Labrador team to a 3–9 record. She also competed in two U Sports/Curling Canada University Curling Championships, finishing 4–3 in 2011 and 2–5 in 2012. Out of juniors, she joined the Heather Strong rink at second. Stephanie Guzzwell (born May 1, 1987 in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador) is a Canadian curler who resides in Oxford, Nova Scotia. Career Juniors Guzzwell was a member of the Stacie Devereaux junior rink, which finished 7th place at the 2003 Canada Winter Games and won four Newfoundland and Labrador junior women's championships between 2004 and 2007. Guzzell played third on the team. The team represented the province at the Canadian Junior Curling Championships in each of those years, going 8–4 in 2004, 5–7 in 2005, 5–6 in 2006 and winning the championship in 2007, with a 12–1 record. The team represented Canada at the 2007 World Junior Curling Championships, winning a silver medal.
