Route 41, also known as Tuckers Hill Road and Beachy Cove Road, is a north-south highway located entirely in the town of Portugal Cove-St. Philips on the island of Newfoundland, linking the Portugal Cove and St. Philips portions of town. Route description Route 41 begins as Tuckers Hill Road in the St. Philips portion of town at an intersection with Route 50 (St. Thomas Line/Thorburn Road). It winds its way through hilly terrain through neighbourhoods before having a Y-Intersection with Witch Hazel Drive, where the road becomes Beachy Cove Road. The highway now winds its way along the coast to enter the Portugal Cove portion of town. Route 50, also known as Thorburn Road and St. Thomas Line, is a east-west highway on the Avalon Peninsula of Newfoundland in the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador. It extends from the city of St. John's west to Paradise. Route description Route 50 begins in the town of Paradise at an intersection with Route 60 (Topsail Road). It heads north as St. Thomas Line through neighbourhoods to cross into Portugal Cove-St. Philips, where it passes through the St. Philips portion of town to have an intersection with Route 41 (Tuckers Hill Road), which leads to the Bell Island Ferry, and becomes Thorburn Road. Bell Island (Newfoundland And Labrador)
Bell Island is an island that is part of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada's easternmost province. With an area of 34 km2, it is by far the largest island in Conception Bay, a large bay in the southeast of the island of Newfoundland. The provincial capital of St. John's is less than 20 km to the east. The coastline of Bell Island consists almost entirely of cliffs that tower up to 45 m above the surf and also has several special rock formations.
