Newcastle Jets Youth is the youth system of Newcastle Jets Football Club based Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia. The academy teams play in the A-League Youth, NSW League Two (in youth team & U20) and Football NSW Youth League Two (U18, U16, U15, U14 & U13 age brackets). Youth team history The team was founded in 2008, as a Newcastle Jets representative team for the inaugural season of the National Youth League/Y-League/A-League Youth competition. On 19 September 2013, it was confirmed that the team would compete in the National Premier Leagues Northern NSW competition from 2014 to 2019. They played in the National Premier Leagues Northern NSW from 2014 to 2019, with the majority of their home games at Jack McLaughlan Oval. For the 2020 season, they transferred to the National Premier Leagues NSW, within the newly created NPL4 Division. Lake Macquarie Regional Football Facility
The Lake Macquarie Regional Football Facility (LMRFF) is a football facility located in Speers Point, NSW. Developed in 2014, it consists of: * 2 full-size synthetic football fields, * 10 five-a-side football fields, * an administration building, * a 120-space vehicle parking area and associated infrastructure. Australia Cup LMRFF is the host for the NNSW Australia Cup Qualifying final rounds. The inaugural event at the facility was played on the weekend of 20–21 June 2015. Newcastle Jets On May 21 2015, it was announced that the LMRFF would become the training facility for A-League team, the Newcastle Jets FC, Newcastle Jets. This coincided with Football Federation Australia, FFA taking ownership of the club. Adamstown is a suburb of Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia, located from Newcastle's central business district. It is part of the City of Newcastle local government area. History The Aboriginal people, in this area, the Awabakal, were the first people of this land. The 2015 Northern NSW Football season was the second season under the new competition format in northern New South Wales. The competition consisted of six divisions across the district. The overall premier for the new structure qualified for the National Premier Leagues finals series, competing with the other state federation champions in a final knockout tournament to decide the National Premier Leagues Champion for 2015. League Tables 2015 National Premier League Northern NSW The 2015 National Premier League Northern NSW season was played over 18 rounds. The bottom team was relegated to the 2016 Northern NSW State League Division 1. Promoted for 2015 are Maitland FC, who were previously in the top tier of Northern NSW football in 2002. In a change for 2015, the top four teams in the league will contest the semi-finals, which will be conducted over two legs.
