Newburgh Mall is a regional shopping center located on New York State Route 300, NY 300 in the Newburgh (town), New York, Town of Newburgh, New York (state), New York, near where Interstate 87 (New York), Interstate 87 (the New York State Thruway) intersects with Interstate 84 (east), Interstate 84. It was opened in 1980 by Kravco property management (later Kravco Simon), which owns King of Prussia (mall), King of Prussia Mall outside Philadelphia. The mall has 46 stores and the only anchor store is Office Depot. Bed Bath & Beyond Inc., Bed Bath & Beyond was a former anchor of the mall but the brand had seen a steep decline in recent years. In early 2023 this led to the closure of many of their stores in New York state, including the Newburgh Mall location. There are 2 vacant anchor stores that was once Sears and The Bon-Ton. Newburgh () is a town in Orange County, New York, United States. It forms part of the Poughkeepsie—Newburgh—Middletown metropolitan area, which is a part of the New York megacity, and is a suburban satellite of the urbanized city of Newburgh. The city of Newburgh was a part of the town prior to 1865. New York Stewart International Airport is partially located within the township, and much of the land into which it could have been expanded has been turned into Stewart State Forest. As of the 2020 census, the population of the town is 31,985. Namdar and Mason are both family owned, and as of 2021, own over 400 properties including 100 plus malls. Strategy Namdar and Mason primarily purchase malls for low prices, with various problems, but do not invest in improving them. The deals for these malls are done in cash. Monticello Gaming and Raceway is a harness racing track and racino in Monticello, Sullivan County, New York. It is off Exit 104 of Route 17 (future Interstate 86), on New York State Route 17B.
