New Zealand Cricket Team In The West Indies In 2014
The New Zealand national cricket team toured the West Indies from 8 June to 6 July 2014, playing a three-match Test cricket series and two T20I matches against the West Indies team. West Indies batsman Chris Gayle played in his 100th Test match in the 1st Test. In that match, Gayle became the seventh West Indian cricketer to pass 7,000 runs in Test cricket. It was New Zealand's first series win away from home against a top-eight nation in 12 years. Denesh Ramdin
Denesh Ramdin (born 13 March 1985) is a Trinidadian cricketer who played internationally for the West Indies. He is a right-handed wicketkeeper-batsman. He retired from all forms of international cricket in July 2022. In July 2005, Ramdin made both his Test and One Day International debut against Sri Lanka and India respectively. He holds the record for the highest score by a West Indies wicket-keeper in ODIs with 169 as well as the second-highest in Tests with 166. In 2010, Ramdin was dropped from the team and his central contract was not renewed. He was recalled to the ODI team in 2011 and the Test team in 2012. Ramdin was appointed Trinidad and Tobago's captain in November 2011. Jermaine Blackwood
Jermaine Blackwood (born 20 November 1991) is a Jamaican cricketer. He made his Test cricket debut for the West Indies against New Zealand in June 2014. He made his One Day International debut for the West Indies against Sri Lanka on 4 November 2015. Blackwood scored his maiden Test century in the first Test of England's 2015 tour, however, England went on to win the match. Blackwood then steered his team to victory in the third Test at Barbados hitting 53 not out with the winning runs coming off the bowling of Moeen Ali. James Neesham
James Douglas Sheahan Neesham (born 17 September 1990), better known as Jimmy Neesham, is a New Zealand international cricketer who has played for New Zealand cricket team. He currently plays in various T20 leagues around the globe as an All-rounder. Domestic and T20 franchise career Neesham began his first-class career with Auckland, but a move to Otago Volts worked well for him, as he made some important contributions in the 50-over format in the 2011/12 season, making three 40-plus scores in seven innings, all of them coming at more than a run a ball. Tom Latham (cricketer)
Thomas William Maxwell Latham (born 2 April 1992) is a New Zealand international cricketer who is vice-captain of the New Zealand cricket team in Tests and ODIs. He is the son of former cricketer Rod Latham. He has the highest number of centuries among the New Zealand openers in Tests. He is primarily a batsman who also plays as a wicket-keeper. Playing for Canterbury, he made his first-class cricket debut against Central Districts in 2010 in the Plunket Shield. Peter Gordon Fulton (born 1 February 1979) is a former New Zealand international cricketer who played for Canterbury at domestic level. He comes from a well recognised cricketing family with his uncle Roddy Fulton playing and captaining both Canterbury, Northern Districts, and New Zealand A from 1972 to 1985. He retired from first-class cricket in April 2017. Corey Anderson (cricketer)
Corey James Anderson (born 13 December 1990) is a former New Zealand cricketer who has played as an all-rounder for New Zealand in international cricket, as well as Royal Challengers Bangalore, Mumbai Indians in the IPL and Northern Districts in New Zealand first class cricket. After retiring from the New Zealand team in 2020, he announced his intention to play for the USA Cricket Team in 2022. Jerome Taylor
Jerome Everton Taylor (born 22 June 1984) is a Jamaican cricketer who has played as a fast bowler for the West Indies. Taylor eventually picked up 100 wickets for the Windies in both tests and odis. During 2017 he reversed an initial decision to retire from international cricket. Shane Shillingford
Shane Shillingford, (born 22 February 1983) is a West Indian cricketer who plays first-class and List A cricket for the Windward Islands and Test cricket for the West Indies cricket team. On 4 March 2021 it was announced that Shillingford has joined Home Counties Premier League, Division 1 side Buckingham Town. International career Shillingford made his Test debut on 10 June 2010 in the home series against South Africa and played in three matches in that series. Marlon Nathaniel Samuels (born 5 February 1981) is a former Jamaican cricketer who played internationally for the West Indies in all three formats, and a former ODI captain. He is a right-handed middle order batsman and an off-spinner. He was a key member of the West Indies team that won the 2012 ICC World Twenty20 and 2016 ICC World Twenty20, and was named man of the match in the final of both tournaments, becoming the first man to achieve the feat. Kieran Omar Akeem Powell (born 6 March 1990) is a Nevisian sportsman who has played international cricket for the West Indies. He is a left-handed opening batsman. Having represented the West Indies under-19s at the 2008 Under-19 World Cup, Powell made his first-class debut for the Leeward Islands in March 2008.
