New Zealand Cricket Team In Australia In 2022–23
The New Zealand cricket team toured Australia in September 2022 to play three One Day International (ODI) matches. The ODI matches were played for the Chappell–Hadlee Trophy, and formed part of the inaugural 2020–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup Super League. In May 2022, Cricket Australia confirmed the fixtures for the tour. On 10 September 2022, Aaron Finch announced his retirement from ODI cricket ahead of the third ODI. Background Originally the tour was scheduled to take place in January and February 2021. On 28 May 2020, Cricket Australia confirmed the fixtures for the series. However, in September 2020, Cricket Australia were looking at moving the series wholly into February 2021, to avoid clashing with the end of the 2020–21 Big Bash League season. Aaron Finch
Aaron James Finch (born 17 November 1986) is a Australian international cricketer who captains the Australian cricket team in T20I and formerly captained the national team in ODI cricket. Finch currently holds the record for two of the three highest individual scores in Twenty20 Internationals (T20I), his score of 172 against Zimbabwe in July 2018 beating his previous record of 156 against England in 2013. In July 2018, he became the first player to reach 900 rating points on the official International Cricket Council (ICC) T20I rankings. He made his Test debut for Australia in October 2018. The wicket-keeper in the sport of cricket is the player on the fielding side who stands behind the wicket or stumps being watchful of the batsman and ready to take a catch, stump the batsman out and run out a batsman when occasion arises. Devon Conway
Devon Philip Conway (born 8 July 1991) is a South African born New Zealand cricketer who plays for the New Zealand cricket team. In March 2020, the International Cricket Council (ICC) confirmed that Conway would be eligible to play for New Zealand from 28 August 2020. Michael Bracewell (cricketer)
Michael Bracewell (born 14 February 1991) is a New Zealand cricketer who plays for Wellington. He is the nephew of former Test players Brendon and John Bracewell, and the cousin of current international player Doug Bracewell and comedian Melanie Bracewell . Finnley Hugh Allen (born 22 April 1999) is a New Zealand International cricketer, who has played for the New Zealand cricket team since March 2021. Marcus Peter Stoinis (born 16 August 1989) is an Australian cricketer who plays limited overs cricket for the Australian national team.
