The Design Guild, also known as the Auckland Design Guild, formed in Auckland in June 1949 for the promotion of good design, was a short-lived professional body for designers in New Zealand. Auckland Libraries is the public library system for the Auckland Region of New Zealand. It was created when the seven separate councils in the Auckland region merged in 2010.
