''Come Out Come Out'' is the second album by Canadian cuddlecore group cub. Originally released in January 1995 on Mint Records, the album was remastered and re-released with bonus tracks in 2007. The cover art is by Fiona Smyth. The track "New York City" was covered by They Might Be Giants on their 1996 album ''Factory Showroom''. The New York City-based band changed some of the landmarks named in the song for their version as they found the original ones hard to decipher. ''N.Y.C. The Big Apple'' (also known as ''New York City'') is an action game written by Russ Segal for the Atari 8-bit family and published by Synapse Software in 1984. Segal previously wrote '' Picnic Paranoia'' for Synapse. ''New York City'' was ported to the Commodore 64 by Greg Nelson. As part of a "Double Play" promotion, ''New York City'' was sold as part of a two-game combo, with ''Electrician'' on the other side of the disk. Gameplay The gameplay involves visiting tourist destinations of New York City such as Grant's Tomb and the U.N. building, as well as less important locations such as the automat and bank. Each location consists of a mini-game, accessed by walking, driving or taking the subway in a stylised rendition of Manhattan island. ''New York City'' (formerly known as ''New York City I'' is an oil-on-canvas painting by Piet Mondrian, completed in 1942. It is on display in the Musée National d'Art Moderne at the Centre Pompidou in Paris, France. An unfinished version of the work, titled ''New York City I'', has strips of painted paper tape, which the artist could rearrange at will to experiment with different designs. It is exhibited at Kunstsammlung Nordrhein-Westfalen in Düsseldorf, Germany. In 2022, it was discovered that the artwork had been hanging upside down for years. To avoid damaging the painting, its orientation was not corrected. Zwol
Walter "Zwol" Zwolinski (aka Zwol or Walter Zwol) is a Canadian musician and songwriter and founding member and front-man for the Canadian rock band Brutus (1969–1976). The band charted a minor Canadian hit, " Who Wants To Buy A Song", a #65 hit in 1976. Zwol then embarked on a solo career and charted two Top 100 hits in the US and Canada late 1970s. He continues to record and perform live in the Toronto region. Brutus Formed in 1969, Brutus consisted of Zwol as vocalist, Tom Wilson as bassist, Michael Magann on trumpet, Lance Wright on drums, Eldon "Sonny" Wingay on guitar, and Bill Robb on sax and trombone. The band was the opening act for popular Canadian and American acts that were touring Canada. The group disbanded in 1971, then reformed with a revised line-up and new look in 1973. ''In Between'' is the fifth studio album by Paul van Dyk released on August 14, 2007. The album features a wide range of collaborations including David Byrne of Talking Heads, Jessica Sutta of the Pussycat Dolls, Ashley Tomberlin of Luminary, Alex M.O.R.P.H., Lo-Fi Sugar, Rea Garvey of Reamonn, Ryan Merchant and Wayne Jackson. The latter had collaborated earlier with Paul van Dyk on the song " The Other Side". The album also features a vocal sample of Ben Lost from Probspot's "Blows My Mind" on the song "Another Sunday". It was their first album after their split with former label Sony BMG. It was recorded in several studios around the country, from the summer of 1999 through the summer of 2000. Mina Caputo (born Keith Caputo; December 4, 1973) is an American singer best known as the lead vocalist and a founding member of New York City alternative metal band Life of Agony. Caputo came out as transgender in 2011 and transitioned to female. Early life Mina Caputo was born on December 4, 1973, in Brooklyn, New York. Both her parents were of Italian-American descent. Both of her parents struggled with heroin addiction, and when she was an infant, her mother died of a heroin overdose and her father (who died in 2002 from similar causes) put Mina under the care of her grandparents, who lived in Mill Basin, New York. Caputo's upbringing was difficult, and her grandfather physically abused her and her grandmother.
