New Heroes Den Bosch
Heroes Den Bosch is a Dutch professional basketball club based in 's-Hertogenbosch. The club plays in the BNXT League since 2021 and in the top basketball division in the Netherlands since 1972. Founded as EBBC in 1951, the club had several sponsored names the following decades. Den Bosch has won a record seventeen Dutch championships, seven Dutch Cup and two Dutch Supercup titles. The team has also been a regular at European competitions, most recently the FIBA Europe Cup. Heroes plays their home games at the Maaspoort, which has a capacity of approximately 2,700 people. History On 18 October 1952, Eerste Bossche Basketball Club (EBBC) was founded by Cees Vossen, Tom van der Leur, Hans van Oorschot and Frans van de Wiel. BNXT League
The BNXT League, for sponsorship reasons the betFirst BNXT League, is a professional basketball league in Belgium and the Netherlands. The league is the first tier in both the Dutch and Belgian system, replacing the Dutch Basketball League, DBL and Pro Basketball League, PBL. The inaugural season was the 2021–22 BNXT League, 2021–22 season, which started in September 2021. The BNXT League plays national playoffs as well as a cross-border playoffs to determine a Dutch champion, Belgian champion and BNXT champion. History On 10 December 2020, it was announced that the Belgian Pro Basketball League and Dutch Basketball League would merge to form a new multinational league. Dan Cramer (basketball)
Dan "Danny" Cramer (born June 2, 1952) is a former American-Dutch professional basketball player. College career Cramer starred at the University of Denver from 1971–1974. A 6’2’’ forward, he scored 504 points in 77 games (6.5 per contest) and grabbed a total of 173 rebounds (2.2 per contest). He broke the school’s record for points in a single game when he scored 50 against Southern Mississippi on February 4, 1974. He left school as a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and had majored in accounting. Professional career Cramer spent his professional career in the Netherlands: From 1974 to 1977, he played for Kinzo Amstelveen, winning the Dutch national championship in 1976 and 1977. EuroChallenge
FIBA EuroChallenge (called the FIBA Europe League in 2003–05, and FIBA EuroCup in 2005–08) was the 3rd-tier level transnational men's professional continental club basketball competition in Europe, from 2003 to 2015. It was organized and run by FIBA Europe. It is not to be confused with the FIBA EuroCup Challenge – the now defunct 4th-tier level transnational men's professional continental club basketball competition in Europe, which was also organized and run by FIBA Europe, and played during the 2002–03 to 2006–07 seasons. Donar Groningen
Donar, also known as Donar Groningen, is a professional basketball club based in Groningen, Netherlands. The club competes in the BNXT League and its home arena is MartiniPlaza, which has a seating capacity of 4,350 people. Donar is one of the traditional first division clubs along with Den Bosch, as it entered the league years ago. The club won the national DBL championship seven times; in 1982, 2004, 2010, 2014, 2016, 2017 and 2018. Donar was runner-up in the seasons: 1998, 2006, 2011, 2015. ZZ Leiden Basketball, also known as Zorg en Zekerheid Leiden, is a basketball club based in Leiden, Netherlands. The club plays in the BNXT League, the domestic first tier league. Amsterdam Basketball was a Dutch professional basketball club from the city of Amsterdam, established in 1995 and dissolved in 2011. Matrixx Magixx was a professional basketball team based in Nijmegen and later Wijchen. The club played in the Dutch Basketball League (DBL), the Dutch top-tier league. Home games of the Magixx were played in Sporthal De Arcus since 2012, therefore De Horstacker was used. The long time main sponsor of the team was The Matrixx. In 2014, Magixx departed from the DBL after the club could not find funding. Founded as a new team from Nijmegen after the departure of Nijmegen, the club played in the DBL for nine straight seasons. EiffelTowers Nijmegen was a Dutch basketball club based in Nijmegen. The club played in the top-tier Eredivisie during the period 2000–2005 and won one championship in 2003. In 2005, the club merged with EBBC Den Bosch to form EiffelTowers Den Bosch. Mike Reddick
Mike Reddick (born February 14, 1963) is an American retired basketball player. At tall, he played as forward. High school and college career Born in Savannah, Georgia, Reddick attended Sol C. Johnson High School. From 1980 to 1984, he played for Stetson University in Florida and averaged 11.2 points and 6.9 rebounds per game. In 1981, Reddick played with the United States student team in a tournament in Taiwan and later in Seoul. He was also named the most valuable player (MVP) of the 1981 Tangerine Bowl tournament, recording 20 points, 11 rebounds and three blocks in their championship game victory over Niagara. In the 1984 NBA draft, he was selected in the sixth round by the Milwaukee Bucks.
