New Hampshire Wildcats Men's Basketball
The New Hampshire Wildcats Basketball team is the basketball team that represent the University of New Hampshire in Durham, New Hampshire. The school's team currently competes in the America East Conference and plays its home games at Lundholm Gym. The Wildcats are one of 45 Division I programs to have never appeared in the NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament. They currently coached by Bill Herrion. America East Conference
The America East Conference is a collegiate athletic conference affiliated with NCAA Division I founded in 1979, whose members are located in the Northeastern United States. The conference has nine core members including eight public research universities, three of which, the University of Maine, the University of New Hampshire, and the University of Vermont, are the flagship universities of their states. The two non-flagship university centers of the State University of New York are in the conference: the University at Albany and Binghamton University. Bryant University is the only private university among the core membership. Of the nine members, eight are located within the borders of 7 contiguous states. The ninth, UMBC, is the only institution outside this bloc of states. Bryant is the latest institution to join the conference in 2022, when Stony Brook University and the University of Hartford departed the conference. Jim Boylan
Jim Boylan (born April 28, 1955) is an American basketball coach. He served as the interim head coach for the Chicago Bulls for part of the 2007–08 NBA season. He also served as an interim coach for the Milwaukee Bucks for part of the 2012–13 NBA season. Most recently, he played a part in helping the Cleveland Cavaliers win the 2016 NBA Finals over the Golden State Warriors. Playing career Born and raised in Jersey City, New Jersey, Boylan played basketball at St. Mary High School. He started his college career at Assumption College in Worcester, Massachusetts then a strong NCAA Division II program before transferring to Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. His older brother, Mike, had enjoyed an outstanding basketball career at Assumption. He was Division II Player of the Year as a senior and among the school's all-time scoring leaders. Boston University Terriers
The Boston University Terriers are the ten men's and fourteen women's varsity athletic teams representing Boston University in NCAA Division I competition. Boston University's team nickname is the Terriers, and the official mascot is Rhett the Boston Terrier. The school colors are Scarlet and White. The mascot is named Rhett after Rhett Butler from ''Gone With the Wind'', because "no one loves Scarlet more than Rhett." The majority of BU's teams compete as members of the Patriot League, with the ice hockey teams competing in Hockey East and rowing competing in the EARC. Maine Black Bears
The Maine Black Bears are the athletic teams that represent the University of Maine. A member of the America East Conference, the University of Maine sponsors teams in eight men's and nine women's NCAA sanctioned sports. The men's and women's ice hockey teams are members of Hockey East, and the football team is an associate member of the Colonial Athletic Association.
