New Hampshire Route 28 is an north–south state highway in eastern New Hampshire. It connects the town of Ossipee in east-central New Hampshire with Salem on the Massachusetts border, while passing through Manchester, the largest city in the state. The southern terminus of NH 28 is on the Massachusetts state line in Salem in south central New Hampshire, from where Massachusetts Route 28 continues south into the city of Methuen and beyond to Boston and Cape Cod. The northern terminus is at the junction with New Hampshire Route 16, the White Mountain Road, in Ossipee, in northern New Hampshire. Route 28 parallels Interstate 93 south of Manchester, going slightly northwest, but it goes northeast north of Manchester. Methuen () is a 23 square mile (60 km2) city in Essex County, Massachusetts, United States. The population was 53,059 at the 2020 census. Methuen lies along the northwestern edge of Essex County, just east of Middlesex County and just south of Rockingham County, New Hampshire. Route 28 is a nominally south–north state highway in the U.S. state of Massachusetts, running from the town of Eastham via Boston to the New Hampshire state line in Methuen. Following the route from its nominally southern end, Route 28 initially heads south to the town of Chatham then turns west to follow along the south shore of Cape Cod. In Falmouth, Route 28 turns north and continues through the western part of Plymouth County and the eastern part of Norfolk County; it then passes through downtown Boston before heading north via Lawrence to the New Hampshire state line, where it continues as New Hampshire Route 28. New Hampshire Route 128 (abbreviated NH 128) is a north–south highway in southeastern New Hampshire. NH 128 runs from the Massachusetts border in Pelham northward to Londonderry, south of Manchester. NH 128 is named Mammoth Road throughout its entire length. The southern terminus of NH 128 is at the Massachusetts state line in the town of Pelham, where the road continues into Massachusetts as an unnumbered road in the town of Dracut. The road, however, is still named Mammoth Road in Dracut. The northern terminus is at New Hampshire Route 28 in Londonderry. New Hampshire Route 102 (abbreviated NH 102) is a state highway in Rockingham County, New Hampshire, Rockingham and Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, Hillsborough counties in the southern part of the U.S. state of New Hampshire. Windham is a suburban town in Rockingham County, New Hampshire, United States. The population at the 2020 census was 15,817, up from 13,592 in 2010. History The area was initially home to the Pawtucket Native Americans. Scots-Irish immigrants began to settle in the area in 1719. The region was known as "Nutfield," and included what are now the neighboring towns of Derry and Londonderry. By 1721 some of the original settlers petitioned to form a separate independent community. Governor Benning Wentworth granted this request in 1742. One published theory holds that the community's name refers to Windham, Ireland, harkening back to the petitioners' homeland. Route 97 is a south–north highway in Essex County in northeastern Massachusetts, United States. It connects the cities of Beverly and Haverhill before continuing into Salem, New Hampshire as New Hampshire Route 97. Route description Route 97 begins at Route 1A in Beverly, north of the downtown area. The Mall At Rockingham Park
The Mall at Rockingham Park is the largest shopping mall in the state of New Hampshire, with of floor space. The mall is located in the town of Salem, about north of Boston. The mall is adjacent to Interstate 93 and the former Rockingham Park race track in Salem, and was the state's third shopping mall to be built. The mall now hosts 144 stores, with Macy's, JCPenney, and Dick's Sporting Goods as anchors with two vacant anchors last occupied by Lord & Taylor and Sears. The mall is managed by Simon Property Group, which owns 28.2% of it. As of March 2015, the mall was Simon's highest grossing center, with annual sales of $2,105 per square foot.
