New Earth (Doctor Who)
"New Earth" is the first episode of the second series of the British science fiction television series ''Doctor Who''. It was first broadcast on BBC One on 15 April 2006. The episode is set five billion years in the future on New Earth, a planet humanity settled on following the destruction of the Earth in the 2005 episode " The End of the World". In the episode, the alien time traveller the Tenth Doctor (David Tennant), his travelling companion Rose Tyler (Billie Piper), and their old enemy Lady Cassandra (Zoë Wanamaker) uncover many artificially-grown humans having been infected with every disease in a luxury hospital by the Sisters of Plenitude as a way of finding cures for the diseases. David Tennant

Struan Rodger
Struan Rodger (born 18 September 1946) is a British actor who has appeared widely in a range of supporting roles. He appeared briefly in ''Who Is Killing the Great Chefs of Europe?'' in 1978 but his first major film role was as Eric Liddell's friend and running coach Sandy McGrath, in the Oscar-winning 1981 film, ''Chariots of Fire''. His later films included ''Diamond Skulls'' (1989), ''Four Weddings and a Funeral'' (1994), ''The Madness of King George'' (1994), '' The Innocent Sleep'' (1996) and '' Stardust'' (2007). Rodger is perhaps best known for his portrayal of Barbara Flynn's husband in the television detective series ''Chandler & Co''. Murray Jonathan Gold (born 28 February 1969) is an English composer for stage, film, and television and a dramatist for both theatre and radio. Simon Winstone is a British author, screenwriter and script editor, best known for his work on ''Doctor Who'' and on the BBC soap opera ''EastEnders''.
