New Conservatives (UK)
The New Conservatives are a parliamentary group of predominantly red wall Conservative MPs aiming to shape the Conservative Party's policies ahead of the next United Kingdom general election. ''Politico'' described the group as having 25 members in July 2023. History The group was created on Sunday, 21 May 2023, and has no official leader, although co-founders, the Penistone and Stocksbridge MP Miriam Cates and the Devizes MP Danny Kruger are the principal organisers behind the initiative. In October 2023, the group proposed banning "gender ideology" within state schools as one of their platforms. In November 2023, it was reported by Sky News that the group had met to discuss Suella Braverman potentially "making a play" for a Conservative party leadership. Blue
Blue is one of the three primary colours in the RYB colour model (traditional colour theory), as well as in the RGB (additive) colour model. Nick Fletcher (politician)
Nicholas Anthony Fletcher (born 15 July 1972) is a British Conservative Party politician who has been the Member of Parliament (MP) for Don Valley since the 2019 general election. He is the first Conservative to ever be elected for the seat. Early life and career Fletcher grew up in Armthorpe, Doncaster, and attended Armthorpe Comprehensive before gaining a HNC in electronic engineering in 1992. In 1994, after being made redundant, he took a business course and established Analogue Electrics in Doncaster. Fletcher also owns a property portfolio consisting of ten residential properties. Rother Valley is a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament by Alexander Stafford, a member of the Conservative Party. History This constituency was created by the Representation of the People Act 1918. Alexander Paul Thomas Stafford (born 19 July 1987) is a British politician who has been the Member of Parliament (MP) for Rother Valley since the 2019 general election. He is the first Conservative to be elected for the seat. He has been the Vice Chairman of the Conservative Party for Policy since September 2022. Jonathan Edward Gullis (born 9 January 1990) is a Conservative Party politician and former teacher, who has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Stoke-on-Trent North since 2019. Education and early career Gullis attended Princethorpe College, an independent school near Rugby. He studied International Relations with Law at Oxford Brookes University (achieving Lower Second-Class Honours (2:2)) and PGCE Secondary Citizenship at the Institute of Education (now part of UCL). Gullis worked in schools from 2012 to 2019, comparing his teaching experiences to boxing. Lee Anderson (born 6 January 1967) is a British Conservative politician who has been the Member of Parliament (MP) for Ashfield, Nottinghamshire since 2019.
