Nevada State Treasurer
The Nevada State Treasurer is an elected office in the U.S. state of Nevada. The Nevada State Treasurer is based in Carson City, Nevada. The Treasurer is elected to a four-year term and may serve for eight years or two terms under Nevada's term limits. The current Treasurer, Zach Conine, was elected in the 2018 Nevada elections and is currently serving his first term which ends in January 2023. Zach Conine
Zachary Beare Conine (born October 20, 1981) is an American attorney, businessman and politician from the U.S. state of Nevada. He is currently the Nevada State Treasurer. Biography Conine was raised in New York. He graduated from Cornell University in 2003 and then moved to Nevada. He worked in Bullhead City, Arizona, and Laughlin, Nevada. While working full-time, he attented the William S. Boyd School of Law, graduating in 2013. He opened his own business consulting company in Las Vegas in 2014. Conine ran for the District 34 seat in the Nevada Assembly in the 2016 elections, but lost in the Democratic Party primary election to Shannon Bilbray-Axelrod. In the 2018 elections, he ran for Nevada State Treasurer, and defeated Republican Bob Beers. Daniel Mark Schwartz (born July 28, 1950) is an American businessman who served as Nevada State Treasurer from January 2015 to January 2019. An international businessman, attorney and Republican, Schwartz defeated his Democratic opponent, former Nevada State Controller Kim Wallin, in 2014. Kathleen Marie Marshall (née Soltero; born July 22, 1959) is an American lawyer and politician who served as the 35th lieutenant governor of Nevada from 2019 to 2021. She is a member of the Democratic Party and was previously the Nevada state treasurer. She was ineligible to run for a third term as treasurer in 2014 due to lifetime term limits established by the Nevada Constitution. She unsuccessfully ran for Nevada secretary of state in 2014. Brian K. Krolicki (born December 31, 1960) is an American businessman and politician. He was the 33rd Lieutenant Governor of Nevada, from 2007 to 2015. As the Lieutenant Governor, he presided over the Nevada State Senate, chaired the Commission on Tourism, and served on the State Board of Transportation and the Reno Tahoe Winter Games Coalition. Patricia Anne "Patty" Dillon Cafferata (born November 24, 1940) is an American politician and lawyer. Born in Albany, New York, Cafferata graduated from Lewis and Clark College with a degree in elementary education and received her J.D. degree from Southwestern University School of Law.
