Nevada State Route 397
State Route 397 (SR 397) is a state highway (US), state highway in the U.S. state of Nevada. It runs from Nevada State Route 860, State Route 860 near Derby Field east on Westergard Road and north on Meridian Road into Lovelock (NV), Lovelock. After passing under Interstate 80 (Nevada), Interstate 80/U.S. Route 95 (Nevada), U.S. Route 95, it turns northeast on Amherst Avenue and ends at Nevada State Route 398, State Route 398, two blocks southeast of Nevada State Route 396, State Route 396 (old U.S. Route 40 (Nevada), U.S. Route 40). History Until the 1976 renumbering (Nevada), 1976 renumbering, most of SR 397 was State Route 59, defined by 1937. At one point, SR 397 only used Westergard Road east of Westfall Road, turning north there to return to I-80/US 95 at Perth, Nevada, Perth. Later, possibly when SR 860 was added, Westfall Road was dropped and SR 397 was extended west to meet SR 860. Major intersections See also * * References

Derby Field
Derby Field is a public airport nine miles southwest of Lovelock, in Pershing County, Nevada. The National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015 categorized it as a ''general aviation'' facility. Facilities Derby Field covers 550 acres (223 ha) at an elevation of 3,907 feet (1,191 m). It has two runways: 2/20 is 5,529 by 75 feet (1,685 x 23 m) and 8/26 is 4,931 by 75 feet (1,503 x 23 m). In the year ending June 30, 2012 the airport had 1,295 general aviation aircraft operations, average 107 per month. Two aircraft were then based at the airport, both single-engine. In popular culture Derby Field has had many references in popular culture, mostly due to its IATA code, LOL, being the same as the common internet acronym.
