Nev Fountain
Nev Fountain, born Steven John Fountain (born 12 August 1969), is an English writer, best known for his comedy work with writing partner Tom Jamieson on the radio and television programme '' Dead Ringers''. Early life A native of Stamford, Fountain attended the University of Warwick. Career While working at a series of odd jobs in London, Fountain wrote a few fringe plays, including one called ''My Grandmother Is a Time Lord'', produced in 1995. In the same year, he began writing sketches for the radio programme ''Week Ending''. It was while working on ''Week Ending'' that he met Tom Jamieson, with whom he has written most of his subsequent radio and television work. Fountain and Jamieson contributed to many radio and television comedy programmes, including '' Have I Got News for You'', ''2DTV'', ''The News Quiz'', '' Loose Ends'' and ''Big Impression''. Stamford, Lincolnshire
Stamford is a town and civil parish in the South Kesteven District of Lincolnshire, England. The population at the 2011 census was 19,701 and estimated at 20,645 in 2019. The town has 17th- and 18th-century stone buildings, older timber-framed buildings and five medieval parish churches. It is a frequent film location. In 2013 it was rated a top place to live in a survey by ''The Sunday Times''. Its name has been passed on to Stamford, Connecticut, founded in 1641. Shalford, Surrey
Shalford is a village and civil parish in Surrey, England on the A281 Horsham road immediately south of Guildford. It has a railway station which is between Guildford and Dorking on the Reading to Gatwick Airport line. It has one named locality, occupying the west of the area, Peasmarsh. Shalford's village sign was designed by Christopher Webb and W H Randall Blacking in 1922, as part of a competition run by the Daily Mail. It shows Saint Christopher carrying the Christ Child over a shallow ford. History Shalford appears in the Domesday Book of 1086 as ''Scaldefor''. John Hardress Wilfred Lloyd (born 30 September 1951) is an English television and radio comedy producer and writer. His television work includes ''Not the Nine O'Clock News'', ''The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy'', ''Spitting Image'', '' Blackadder'' and '' QI''. He is currently the presenter of BBC Radio 4's ''The Museum of Curiosity''. Early life Lloyd was born in Dover, England. His father, H. L.
