The Neue Philharmonie Frankfurt is an orchestra based in Offenbach, Germany. The Neue Philharmonie Frankfurt, established in 1996, is beside its work as a classical symphony orchestra one of the leading crossover orchestras in Europe. The orchestra consists of many experienced crossover musicians, led by their concertmaster, the violinist Ralf Hübner. Pur is a German pop band from Bietigheim-Bissingen. History The group was initially founded in 1975 under the name ''Crusade'' by Roland Bless and Ingo Reidl. ''Live at Montreux 2011'' is a live release by English hard rock band Deep Purple's mk VIII lineup credited as Deep Purple with Orchestra, and performed alongside the Neue Philharmonie Frankfurt conducted by Stephen Bentley-Klein. This concert was recorded at the Montreux Jazz Festival on 16 July 2011. Besides a 2CD release, the concert film has also been released on DVD and Blu-ray. The Songs That Built Rock Tour was a 2011–12 world concert tour by English hard rock band Deep Purple. Overview Along with the band, the tour featured a 38-piece orchestra. Joachim Witt (born 22 February 1949) is a German rock musician and actor. Biography Witt was the guitarist/singer in the 1970s krautrock band Duesenberg.
