Apeldoorn
Apeldoorn (; Dutch Low Saxon: ) is a municipality and city in the province of Gelderland in the centre of the Netherlands. It is located about 60 km east of Utrecht, 60 km west of Enschede, 25 km north of Arnhem and 35 km south of Zwolle. Hugo Haak
Hugo Haak (born 29 October 1991) is a Dutch track cyclist and revered coach. He represented his nation at the 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015 UCI Track Cycling World Championships. At the 2016 UCI Track Cycling World Championships he won the silver medal in the team sprint. At the 2015 UEC European Track Championships he became European Champion in the team sprint. Haak is a five time Dutch National Champion: twice in the individual time trial, once in keirin, individual sprint and team sprint. Biography Younger years As a kid, Haak was encouraged to sport. His parents put him on judo, so he could learn how to fall. His main sport would be field hockey. Ellen Van Dijk
Eleonora Maria "Ellen" van Dijk (; born 11 February 1987) is a Dutch professional road racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Women's WorldTeam . Besides road cycling she was also a track cyclist until 2012. Van Dijk is known as a time trial specialist and is five times world champion. She won her first world title on the track in the scratch race in 2008. She became Road World Champion in 2012, 2013 and 2016 with her respective trade teams in the team time trial and in 2013 also in the individual time trial. Tim Veldt (born 14 February 1984) is a Dutch former track cyclist, who currently works as a directeur sportif for both the road and track teams of . During his career Veldt won two world cup classics in the team sprint, two European titles (under 23 1 km time trial and omnium) as well as three Dutch national titles (1 km time trial twice and keirin). Levi Heimans
Levi Heimans (born 24 July 1985 in Diemen, North Holland) is a Dutch track cyclist. Heimans represented the Netherlands at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens where he took part in the 4 km team pursuit together with Jens Mouris, Peter Schep and Jeroen Straathof. They ended up in fifth position. He was also qualified for the individual pursuit but decided to focus totally on the team effort and did not start in that race. Miriam Welte
Miriam Welte (born 9 December 1986) is a German track cyclist. Career At the 2012 UCI Track Cycling World Championships in Melbourne, Welte and Kristina Vogel won the gold medal in the team sprint. They set a world record in qualifying which they broke again in the final. On 22 June 2012, she set a new world record of 10.643 seconds in the individual sprint event. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, she and Vogel won the team sprint gold medal. Welte was trained by her step-father, Frank Ziegler.
