Netanya Stadium
The Netanya Stadium ( he, אצטדיון נתניה), commonly known as The Diamond Stadium, is a multi-use stadium in Netanya, Israel. It is used as the permanent home ground of Maccabi Netanya, and it has been used as the temporary homeground of Hapoel Hadera. The stadium also serves the Israel national football team for some select home matches, as well as the main home ground of the Israel national under-19 football team as of 2021. History Financing of the stadium came from the sale of the land where the old Sar-Tov Stadium was on before being demolished to be used for a housing project. On 30 September 2003 Minister of Internal Affairs Avraham Poraz approved the plan to build the stadium in an area called Birkat Hanoun. UEFA Stadium Categories
UEFA stadium categories are categories for association football, football stadiums laid out in UEFA's Stadium Infrastructure Regulations. Using these regulations, stadiums are rated as category one, two, three, or four (renamed from elite) in ascending ranking order. These categories replaced the previous method of ranking stadiums on one to five star scale in 2006. A stadium must be rated as category four in order to host games in the playoffs of the qualifying stage for the UEFA Champions League, or any game in the main competition. The 2012–13 Israel State Cup ( he, גביע המדינה, ''Gvia HaMedina'') was the 74th season of Israel's nationwide football cup competition and the 59th after the Israeli Declaration of Independence. Ahmad Saba'a (or Ahmed Saba, ar, أحمد سبع, he, אחמד סבע; born 24 May 1980) is an Arab-Israeli former footballer. Biography Ahmad Saba'a was born in Majd al-Kurum, Israel, to a Muslim-Arab family.
