Britta Nestler
Britta Nestler (born 1972) is a German materials scientist at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. Her research involves the development of software to simulate the formation of microstructures in advanced materials for which experimental studies would be too expensive or difficult. Nestler did her undergraduate and graduate studies in mathematics and physics at RWTH Aachen University. She joined the Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences in 2001 and moved to the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in 2009. Chrétien Géofroy Nestler
Chrétien Géofroy Nestler, name also given as Christian Gottfried Nestler (1 March 1778, Strasbourg – 2 October 1832), was an Alsatian botanist and pharmacist. He studied under Louis Claude Richard in Paris, and in 1806–1810 served as a military pharmacist. He was later a professor of botany to the faculty of medicine at the University of Strasbourg and a chief pharmacist of Strasbourg hospices. In 1816 he was appointed director of the botanical garden at Strasbourg. As a taxonomist, he described a number of species within the genus ''Potentilla''. Elisabeth "Liesl" Nestler (born 14 November 1951) is an Austrian former competitive figure skater. She represented Austria at the 1968 Winter Olympics, placing 23rd, and at seven ISU Championships, finishing in the top ten four times. Eric J Dubowsky also known as Eric J, is a Grammy, Emmy, ARIA, and APRA award-winning mixer, songwriter and record producer. Eric grew up in the New York City suburb of Tenafly, New Jersey and graduated from Tenafly High School in 1993. Gaby Nestler
Gaby Nestler is a former East German cross-country skier who competed during the 1980s. She won a bronze medal in the 4 × 5 km relay at the 1985 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Seefeld and also finished 10th in the 20 km event at the 1987 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Oberstdorf. Nestler earned one victory in a 10 km event in Les Saisies, France in 1986 which made her the youngest race winner in the World Cup history. Gerry Paul Nestler is an American vocalist/multi-instrumentalist/songwriter best known for his work with L.A. avantgarde progressive metal band Civil Defiance and experimental post-hardcore triumvirate Philm, featuring former Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo and bassist Francisco 'Pancho' Tomaselli of War. Johann Karl Nestler, cs, Jan Karel Nestler (16 December 1783 – 9 July 1842) was an Austrian scientist in the field of hereditary traits, professor of natural history and agriculture at the Philosophical Faculty of University of Olomouc, dean of the faculty and rector of the university, and doyen of the Czech agriculture science. Biography Nestler studied philosophy, theology and law in years 1800–06 at the Olomouc Academical Lyceum (the University of Olomouc was degraded to academical lyceum in 1782–1826). Then in years 1806–12 he was an educator in Althart / Staré Hobzí and in years 1812–18 he was a director of a high school in Klafterbrunn, Lower Austria. In years 1818–20 he received technical education in agriculture.
