Nestea Beach Volleyball
The Nestea Beach Volleyball is a beach volleyball tournament held during the Summer season in the Philippines. Held in the Boracay Beach Chalets, Station 2 in Boracay Island in Aklan, the Nestea Beach Volleyball is the longest-running beach volleyball tournament in the country and the main attraction of the Nestea Love the Beach event in Boracay usually held on April until May or the Labor Day Weekend. It consists into two parts: the Intercollegiate Beach Volleyball tournament featuring collegiate teams from different parts of the country and the Fantasy Match where semi-pro players (consists of two teams by 4 players) duel in a beach volleyball exhibition game. The tournament is organized by Volleyworks and sanctioned by the Philippine Volleyball Federation (PVF), thru Executive Director Otie Camangian which served as the tournament director. Beach Volleyball Republic, Inc. (BVR) is an organization aimed for the development and growth of beach volleyball in the Philippines formed in June 2015. History Co-founded by former Ateneo Lady Eagles volleybelles and current professional players Charo Soriano, Gretchen Ho, Fille Cainglet, Fille Cainglet-Cayetano, Dzi Gervacio and Bea Tan. BVR organized beach volleyball tournaments in different beaches and public places in the Philippines, grassroots development program for the young and aspiring players and the professional circuit tours thru the Beach Royals program, with the first legs held at the SM Sands By the Bay court on June 20 and July 11, 2015. Michele Gumabao
Michele Theresa Imperial Gumabao (; born September 2, 1992) is a Filipino volleyball player and beauty pageant titleholder. She is currently signed to the Creamline Cool Smashers of the Premier Volleyball League (PVL), and has previously played for teams in the Philippine Super Liga (PSL). She was named "Best Opposite Spiker" five times in her professional career and was the Finals in the 2016 Shakey's V-League Reinforced Conference. Charleen Abigaile "Cha" Ramos Cruz-Behag (born May 11, 1988) is a Filipino professional volleyball player and an educator. She is a member of the Philippine women's national volleyball team. Currently, she is playing and is the team captain for the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers in the Philippine Super Liga, a semi-professional corporate club volleyball league in the Philippines. She was a member of De La Salle University (DLSU) Lady Spikers, the official women's volleyball varsity team of De La Salle University. Rachel Anne Lopez Daquis (born December 13, 1987) is a Filipino volleyball player. She graduated from the Far Eastern University where she took up Business Management. She was also the team captain of the PLDT HOME TVolution women's team that played in the 2014 Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship. She is a former team captain of the FEU Lady Tamaraws in her collegiate years, where she was given the title "Queen Tamaraw". She played in the Philippine Super Liga (PSL) with the Cignal HD Spikers and is the PSL's brand ambassador for 2018 to 2019. In 2020, her team Cignal HD Spikers transfers to Premier Volleyball League.
