Roberto Bianchi Montero
Roberto Bianchi Montero (7 December 1907 - 7 December 1986) was an Italian actor, director and screenwriter. Life and career Born in Rome, Bianchi Montero started acting as a teenager on stage and he was a member of an amateur theater group with whom he performed in several festivals. In 1930 he entered the stage company of Ettore Petrolini, and in 1934 he founded his own company. In 1936 he got his first film role, and in the late 1930s he also was assistant director for a number of films. After the Second World War, Bianchi Montero directed numerous genre films, usually low-budget productions, in which he often also collaborated to the screenplays. He particularly specialized in melodramas, Spaghetti Westerns and Commedia sexy all'italiana films. He was the father of the director Mario Bianchi. Alessandro "Sandro" Ruffini (21 September 1889 – 29 November 1954) was an Italian actor and voice actor. Born in Rome, Ruffini appeared in 64 films between 1913 and 1954, and was also active in theatre and radio. He was well known for his beautiful "aristocratic" voice and dubbed the voices of many actors for the Italian versions of their films, including Leslie Howard in ''Gone with the Wind'', Clifton Webb in '' Laura'', and Charlie Chaplin in '' Limelight''. Marco Guglielmi (6 October 1926 – 28 December 2005) was an Italian actor, screenwriter and author. Life and career Born Augusto Guglielmi in Sanremo, he graduated from ragioneria, then he enrolled at the university in the faculty of economics and business, though without finishing his studies. Guglielmi later attended the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome, graduating in 1953, despite having participated in 1951–52 in a few films in minor roles. He then started a busy acting career on stage, television and cinema, even if often cast in supporting and character roles. Guglielmi also worked in fotoromanzi for the magazine ''Sogno''. He was also active as screenwriter and novelist; his novel, "Er più de Roma", co-written by Lucio Mandarà, was adapted into the film ''Il principe fusto'', directed by Maurizio Arena and released in 1960. Renato Chiantoni (19 April 1906 – 24 December 1979) was an Italian actor. He appeared in 100 films between 1937 and 1978. Born in Brescia, the son of the stage actor Amedeo, Chiantoni debuted on stage entering several drama and revue companies. He was later active as an actor of radio dramas. Very active in films as a character actor since the 1930s, after World War II Chiantoni also worked as a director of production and as a documentary director.
