Nerosubianco
''Nerosubianco'', styled as ''nEROSubianco'' and also released with the international title ''Attraction'', is an Italian black comedy (part collage film) directed by Tinto Brass. The film deals with a variety of contemporary themes such as sexual freedom, racial tensions, and political radicalism from the perspective of a young upper-class Italian woman. The film has also been titled rather exploitatively like ''The Artful Penetration of Barbara'' and as ''Black on White'', a literal translation of the Italian title. ''Nerosubianco'' shooting began in October 1967 and it was premiered at the 1968 Cannes Film Festival. The film saw theatrical release in February 1969. Plot Barbara (Anita Sanders) has accompanied her husband Paolo (Nino Segurini) to London. Freedom (band)
Freedom was an English psychedelic rock band, active in the late 1960s and early 1970s, formed initially by members of Procol Harum. Ray Royer and Bobby Harrison, who had performed on the hit Procol Harum single "A Whiter Shade of Pale", were kicked out of the Harum by vocalist Gary Brooker, and replaced by Robin Trower and Barry Wilson. Royer and Harrison then formed Freedom with Steve Shirley and Tony Marsh, who was immediately replaced by pianist / organist Mike Lease, releasing two German singles and the soundtrack for the Tinto Brass/Dino de Laurentiis film ''Nerosubianco, Attraction'' (original title ''Nerosubianco'', also known as ''Black on White''). Tinto Brass
Giovanni "Tinto" Brass (born 26 March 1933) is an Italian film director and screenwriter. In the 1960s and 1970s, he directed many critically acclaimed avant-garde films of various genres. Today, he is mainly known for his later work in the erotic genre, with films such as '' Caligula'', '' Così fan tutte'' (released under the English title ''All Ladies Do It''), '' Paprika'', '' Monella'' (''Frivolous Lola'') and ''Trasgredire''. Gian Carlo Fusco (1 July 1915 – 17 September 1984), sometimes spelled Giancarlo Fusco, was an Italian writer, journalist, screenwriter and occasional actor. Anita Sanders (born 1942) is a retired Swedish actress and photomodel who was active in the Italian films of the 1960s and 1970s. Career Sanders began her film career with a minor role in '' La fuga'' in 1964, followed by a topless appearance in Federico Fellini's ''Juliet of the Spirits'', and Elio Petri's ''The 10th Victim'', in 1965.
