Augustus Adolphus St John Nepean (24 June 1849 – 24 January 1933) was an English first-class cricketer active 1876–77 who played for Middlesex and Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC). Charles Nepean
The Rev. Charles Edward Burroughs Nepean (5 February 1851 – 26 March 1903) was an English amateur cricketer and footballer who later became a vicar in the Church of England. As a cricketer he played ten first-class matches for Oxford University and Middlesex between 1870 and 1874, whilst in football he was in goal for Oxford University, the winning side in the 1874 FA Cup Final. Early life and education Nepean was born in Mayfair, London, the youngest of 13 children of Rev. Canon Evan Nepean (1800–1873) and Anne Fust. His father was the son of Sir Evan Nepean, 1st Baronet and was the Canon of Westminster and a Chaplain in Ordinary to Queen Victoria. Nepean was educated at Charterhouse School between 1861 and 1869 before going up to University College, Oxford. At Charterhouse, he was a regular member of the school cricket XI. Evan Nepean
Sir Evan Nepean, 1st Baronet, PC FRS (9 July 1752 – 2 October 1822)Sparrow (n.d.) was a British politician and colonial administrator. He was the first of the Nepean Baronets. Family Nepean was born at St. Stephens near Saltash, Cornwall, the second of three sons of Nicholas Nepean, an innkeeper, and his second wife, Margaret Jones. His father was Cornish and his mother was from South Wales. The name "Nepean" is thought to come from the village of Nanpean ("the head of the valley"), in Cornwall. Nepean married Margaret Skinner, the only daughter of Capt. William Skinner, on 6 June 1782 at the Garrison Church at Greenwich. They had eight children, including Sir Molyneux Hyde Nepean, 2nd Bt., and Maj.-Gen. William Nepean, whose daughter Anna Maria Nepean married General Sir William Parke. Their youngest child, Rev. ''For the British politician and colonial administrator, see Evan Nepean.'' Evan Alcock Nepean (13 September 1865 – 20 January 1906) was an English barrister and first-class cricketer. Active 1886–1902, he played for Middlesex, Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) and Oxford University. Life He was the son of Sir Evan Colville Nepean (1836–1908) of the War Office and his wife Elizabeth Jenner, born in Mitcham. He was educated at St Mark's School, Windsor, Berkshire, and Sherborne School. He matriculated at University College, Oxford in 1884, and played in the University cricket XI in 1887 and 1888. Nepean was called to the bar at the Inner Temple in 1891, and subsequently played less cricket, concentrating on his legal career; but he played for the MCC against the Australians at Lords in 1893.
