Nepal Women's National Cricket Team
The Nepal national women's cricket team represents Nepal in international women's cricket. They made their international debut in the ACC Women's Tournament in Malaysia in July 2007. Nepal has been participating in various international tournaments since then. Nepal's current captain is Rubina Chhetry, coach is Shyam Sun Jung Thapa and manager is Sanjaya Raj Singh. In April 2018, the International Cricket Council (ICC) granted full Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) status to all its members. Therefore, all Twenty20 matches played between Nepal women and another international side after 1 July 2018 will be a full WT20I. Cricket Association Of Nepal
Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) is the official governing body of cricket in Nepal. It was suspended from 2016 to 13 October 2019 due to governmental interference. The ICC welcomed the elections of the board held in September 2019 and formally reinstated the board on a conditional basis on 14 October. Its headquarters is in Kathmandu, Nepal. Cricket Association of Nepal is Nepal's representative at the International Cricket Council (ICC) and remains an associate member, having been a member since 1988 AD (2045 BS). It is also a member of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC). The board was dissolved by the government of Nepal in November 2014 on the grounds of incompetence and a three-member ad hoc committee was established with a new president designated by the government itself. 2019 Thailand Women's T20 Smash
The 2019 Thailand Women's T20 Smash was a women's T20I cricket tournament held in Bangkok, Thailand from 12 to 19 January 2019. The participants were the women's national sides of Thailand, Bhutan, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal and United Arab Emirates, as well as a Thailand 'A' side. Matches (except those involving Thailand 'A') were recognised as official WT20I games as per ICC's announcement that full WT20I status would apply to all the matches played between women's teams of associate members after 1 July 2018. The matches were played at the Asian Institute of Technology Ground and the Terdthai Cricket Ground, both in Bangkok. Thailand won the tournament after winning all of their matches. 2022 ACC Women's T20 Championship
The 2022 ACC Women's T20 Championship was a women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) cricket tournament that was held in Malaysia from 17 to 25 June 2022. The tournament was organised by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) and the top two sides qualified for the 2022 Women's Twenty20 Asia Cup. The series was the last to be played at the Kinrara Academy Oval before the ground closed on 30 June 2022. 2023 ICC Women's T20 World Cup
The 2023 ICC Women's T20 World Cup is scheduled to be the eighth edition of ICC Women's T20 World Cup tournament. It is scheduled to be held in South Africa, from 10 to 26 February 2023. Binod Kumar Das ( ne, विनोद कुमार दास; born 26 April 1983) is a Nepalese former cricketer and a former captain of Nepal national cricket team. All-rounder Binod is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium pace bowler. He made his debut for Nepal against UAE in November 2000.
