Neo Turf Masters
''Neo Turf Masters'' is a golf video game by Nazca for the Neo Geo (console), Neo Geo, released in 1996. This is also one of the first two titles by Nazca Corporation, Nazca, the other being the popular ''Metal Slug'' before being acquired by SNK. The game was released as an arcade cartridge (MVS) and as home cartridge (AES), as well as for the Neo Geo CD console. The Neo Geo version was later re-released as part of the ''SNK Arcade Classics Vol. 1'' compilation for the PlayStation 2, PS2, Wii and PlayStation Portable, PSP, as well as for the Wii Virtual Console. The game has also been ported to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch by Hamster Corporation as part of their ''Arcade Archives'' series (under the title ''Big Tournament Golf''). Developer DotEmu released a standalone iOS and Android port in 2016. A version for the Neo Geo Pocket Color was later released in North America in 1999. Nazca Corporation
was a Japanese company that developed video games for the Neo Geo games console. The company was formed in 1994 by a group of employees from Irem who were tired of the company's inactivity. In 1996, the company was acquired by SNK. History ''R-Type II'''s graphical style bears great similarity to what this team is known for. However, it is generally thought their first game was ''Air Duel''; they would later make games such as '' Armed Police Unit Gallop'', ''Undercover Cops'', ''Pound For Pound'', ''Ken-Go'', and '' Kaitei Daisensou''. Their final game for Irem was ''GunForce II'', after which they left and created Nazca, creating ''Neo Turf Masters'' and ''Metal Slug''; the latter shares many stylistic similarities to the previous Irem works and both titles were made with the same development kits used for several Irem arcade games. The PlayStation Portable (PSP) is a handheld game console developed and marketed by Sony Computer Entertainment.
