''Nena Live'', released on 16 November 1998, is a live recording by German pop singer Nena. In the same year the band re-recorded this song in English as "99 Red Balloons". Nena's re-recording of some of the band's old hit songs as a solo artist, produced by the co-composer of most of them, her former Nena band colleague and keyboard player Uwe Fahrenkrog-Petersen, rekindled her solo career in 2002. Combined with the success of the Nena band years, she has sold over 25 million records, making her the most successful German pop singer in chart history. ''Wunder gescheh'n'' (German for "Miracles Happen") is the first solo album by German pop singer Nena. It was released in November 1989, two years after the demise of her band in fall 1987. The title track, "Du bist überall" and "Im Rausch der Liebe" were released as singles and had moderate success. Theme The album was written (several tracks by Nena herself) and recorded at a time when she was pregnant with twins and shortly after the death of her first child at the age of 11 months. Many of the songs focus on Nena's feelings towards her lost son and her hopes and fears concerning her unborn children. One of them, "Weisses Schiff", is often introduced by Nena at her live concerts as one of her favourite songs. The song describes the thoughts of a person watching a ship of young and old souls sailing into the distance, expressing the hope that when her time comes, she'll be welcomed aboard. "99 Luftballons" (german: link=no, Neunundneunzig Luftballons, "99 balloons") is a song by the German band Nena from their 1983 self-titled album. An English-language version titled "99 Red Balloons", with lyrics by Kevin McAlea, was also released on the album ''99 Luftballons'' in 1984 after widespread success of the original in Europe and Japan. The English version is not a direct translation of the German original and contains lyrics with a somewhat different meaning. In the US, the English-language version did not chart, while the German-language recording became Nena's only US hit. ''Feuer und Flamme'' (German for "Fire and Flame", with the additional figurative meaning of "great enthusiasm"), released in 1985, is the third album by German pop band Nena and the fourth studio album of its singer, Gabriele "Nena" Kerner. The album was a success, reaching in Germany. Prompted by the success of ''99 Luftballons'' (1984), which included English-language versions of songs from the band's first two albums, Nena recreated ''Feuer und Flamme'' in English as ''It's All in the Game'' (1985), with lyrics by Canadian singer Lisa Dalbello. The experiment failed commercially and was not repeated with the band's next album. Gabriele Kerner recorded a new bilingual German-English version of "Anyplace, Anywhere, Anytime" with Kim Wilde in 2002. "Irgendwie, irgendwo, irgendwann" (German for "somehow, somewhere, sometime") is a 1984 song by Nena written by band members Jörn-Uwe Fahrenkrog-Petersen and Carlo Karges. It was a commercial success in Europe. Released initially as a single, it was included on Nena's 1985 album ''Feuer und Flamme''. ''? ()'' (German for "Question mark") is the second album by German pop rock band Nena and the third studio album to feature its lead singer, Gabriele "Nena" Kerner. It was released on 27 January 1984, just a few months before the band's first international album , which contains songs from their debut album '' Nena'' (1983) and this album, some of them re-recorded with English lyrics. Like its self-titled predecessor, this album was produced by Reinhold Heil and Manne Praeker of Spliff. Title track The album's title track was co-written by Nena and the band's keyboard player Jörn-Uwe Fahrenkrog-Petersen and is so called since, having written the song, Nena was unable to settle on a title and so indicated its spot in the band's live set list with a question mark. ''Jamma nich'' is a studio album by German pop singer Nena. The title is a colloquial rendering of the German injunction ''jammere nicht!'' ("don't complain" or "don't whine"). Nena wrote the album with Annette Humpe (Ideal, Ich und Ich), who also co-produced, and Luci van Org (Lucilectric). Their involvement may explain the "synth pop tendency" that makes it "a unique kind of semideparture in her catalog". Rheinstadion
The Rheinstadion () was a multi-purpose stadium, in Düsseldorf, Germany. The stadium was built, near the Rhine, in 1926 and held 54,000 people at the end of its life. It was the home ground for Fortuna Düsseldorf from 1953 to 1970 and 1972–2002. It was used during the 1974 FIFA World Cup and 1988 European Championships. In 1995, the Rhein Fire, of the World League of American Football became tenants in their inaugural season. It hosted World Bowl '99 and World Bowl X. Metallica performed at the stadium during their Nowhere Else to Roam Tour on May 20, 1993, with The Cult & Suicidal Tendencies as their opening act. ''Nena'' is the first album by German pop rock band Nena and the second studio album of its singer, Gabriele "Nena" Kerner. Released on 14 January 1983, it is part of the music genre called Neue Deutsche Welle (meaning "New German Wave") in German music.
