Nelson Tapia
Nelson Antonio Tapia Ríos (born 22 September 1966) is a former Chilean football goalkeeper and current football manager of Ecuadorian club Olmedo. International career He made his debut for the Chile national team in 1994 against France. After his last match thus far, a 0–5 loss against Brazil in 2005, the tally is at 73 caps. He played all four games for Chile at the 1998 FIFA World Cup, and he also won an Olympic bronze medal with Chile at the 2000 Summer Olympics. Managerial career While he was studying at the INAF (National Football Institute) to become a football manager, he worked as a goalkeeping coach of C.D. Universidad Católica at under-10 level and as the coach of the Molina football team, in his birthplace. Molina, Chile
Molina is a Chilean city and commune in Curicó Province, Maule Region. Molina is named after Chilean Jesuit Juan Ignacio Molina. Demographics According to the 2002 census of the National Statistics Institute, Molina spans an area of and has 38,521 inhabitants (19,392 men and 19,129 women). Of these, 28,232 (73.3%) lived in urban areas and 10,289 (26.7%) in rural areas. The population grew by 8% (2,847 persons) between the 1992 and 2002 censuses. CD Colchagua
Colchagua Club de Deportes or just Colchagua is a chilean Football club, their home town is San Fernando in Chile. They currently play in the Tercera Division A (Third Division A) of Chilean football, which is actually the fourth division on chilean football due to ANFP ruling. Its traditional rivals are Rancagua Sur and O'Higgins both from the city of Rancagua in the O'Higgins Region which is where San Fernando is also located, it also has rivalry with General Velásquez from the nearby town of San Vicente and with Deportes Santa Cruz. Club Deportivo Unión Temuco was a Chilean professional football club based in Temuco, La Araucanía Region. The club played at the Primera B, the second tier of the Chilean football, until 2013 when it was folded. The club was established in January 2008 by former football star Marcelo Salas, who was born in Temuco. In 2009, the club joined to the Third Division tournament, and years later this tournament was won by Temuco, being the first official title of the club. The 1998 FIFA World Cup was the 16th FIFA World Cup, the football world championship for men's national teams. The finals tournament was held in France from 10 June to 12 July 1998. In sport, a cap is a player's appearance in a game at international level. The term dates from the practice in the United Kingdom of awarding a cap to every player in an international match of rugby football and association football. In the early days of football, the concept of each team wearing a set of matching shirts had not been universally adopted, so each side would distinguish itself from the other by wearing a specific sort of cap. An early illustration of the first international football match between Scotland and England in 1872 shows the Scottish players wearing cowls, and the English wearing a variety of school caps.
