Neil Swarbrick
Neil Swarbrick (born 20 December 1965) is an English retired association football, football Referee (association football), referee who officiated primarily in the Premier League having been promoted to the Select Group Referees, Select Group of Referees in 2011. He is based in Burnley, Lancashire, Preston, Lancashire, and is a member of the Lancashire County Football Association. Career Swarbrick took up refereeing relatively late, at the age of 29. Within six years he was promoted to the National List of Assistant referee (association football), assistant referees. He fulfilled this role for four years before being added to the Referees' List. He refereed in the Football Conference until moving up into the Football League. He has also officiated FA Cup and Football League Cup matches. Club football European competitions In October 2007, Arsenal equalled the UEFA Champions League record victory with a 7–0 win over Slavia Prague at the Emirates Stadium. The record was broken the following month when Liverpool defeated Beşiktaş 8–0 at Anfield. Roger Dilkes
Roger Dilkes (born 16 August 1948) is an English former football referee who officiated in the Football League and Premier League. During his time on the National List he was based in Mossley, Lancashire. Career Dilkes became a Football League linesman in 1980 and reached the Referees List just three years later at the age of thirty four. In March 1988 he handled the Merseyside derby between Everton and Liverpool. This would be a key match in any circumstances but took on far greater significance as Liverpool were aiming to set a (then) record of thirty matches unbeaten from the start of the season. Everton won 1–0, inflicting one of only two League defeats all season on Liverpool, who subsequently won the Title.
