Neil Banfield
Neil Banfield (born 20 January 1962) is an English professional football coach and former player. He was last an assistant manager at Rangers. Banfield played in the Football League for Crystal Palace and Leyton Orient. He became a coach at Charlton Athletic, before moving to Arsenal as a youth coach. In 2012, Banfield was appointed first-team coach under Arsène Wenger at Arsenal, then moved to Queens Park Rangers. Playing career Club Banfield was born on 20 January 1962 in Poplar, London. He played district and England schoolboy and youth football and joined Crystal Palace as an apprentice in August 1979, with whom he won the 1978 FA Youth Cup in a 1–0 victory over Aston Villa. Poplar is a district in East London, England, the administrative centre of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, borough of Tower Hamlets. Adelaide City Football Club is a soccer club based in Adelaide, South Australia. The club was known historically as Juventus — the original name given to the club by its founders in Adelaide's Italian community. UEFA Under-18 Championship
The UEFA European Under-19 Championship, or simply UEFA Under-19 Championship or the UEFA Euro U-19, is an annual football competition contested by the European men's under-19 national teams of the member associations of UEFA. FA Youth Cup
The Football Association Youth Challenge Cup is an English football competition run by The Football Association for under-18 sides. Only those players between the age of 15 and 18 on 31 August of the current season are eligible to take part. It is dominated by the youth sides of professional teams, mostly from the Premier League, but attracts over 400 entrants from throughout the country. At the end of the Second World War the FA organised a Youth Championship for County Associations considering it the best way to stimulate the game among those youngsters not yet old enough to play senior football. The matches did not attract large crowds but outstanding players were selected for Youth Internationals and thousands were given the chance to play in a national contest for the first time. Michael Beale (football Coach)
Michael Beale (born 4 September 1980) is an English football coach who currently manages Scottish Premiership club Rangers. Beale was assistant manager to Steven Gerrard at Rangers and Aston Villa. He has also coached at Chelsea, Liverpool and São Paulo. Playing career Beale's playing career started at Charlton Athletic and, after being released by Charlton, he had short trials at FC Twente in the Netherlands, and at clubs in the United States, before calling an end to his playing days at the age of 21. Don Givens
Daniel Joseph "Don" Givens (born 9 August 1949) is an Irish former footballer and coach. A forward, Givens played club football for Manchester United, Luton Town, Queens Park Rangers, Birmingham City, AFC Bournemouth, Sheffield United and Neuchâtel Xamax, and was capped 56 times for the Republic of Ireland. His 19 senior international goals was a national record for several years. He went on to coach at Xamax and Arsenal, and spent ten years as manager of the Republic of Ireland U21 team. Eddie Niedzwiecki
Andrzej Edward "Eddie" Niedzwiecki; born 3 May 1959) is a Welsh football coach and former footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He is currently assistant manager of AFC Wimbledon. After retiring early due to injury Niedzwiecki became a coach with Chelsea and then Arsenal before working alongside Mark Hughes with the Wales national team. Since then he has worked with Hughes at Blackburn Rovers, Manchester City, Fulham, Queens Park Rangers, Stoke City and Southampton. Playing career Starting his playing career with Wrexham at the age of 14, Niedzwiecki won the Third Division title of 1978 with the side. FA Premier Academy League
The Premier Academy League (sometimes abbreviated as FAPAL) was the top level of youth football in England before it was to be replaced by a new league proposed by the Elite Player Performance Plan in 2012, which was accepted by the 72 member clubs of The Football League on 20 October 2011. This newly formed league was established in the 2015–2016 season and given the renamed title of the Professional Development League It was contested between the Academy sides of the Premier League and some Football League clubs.
