Guang'anmen
__NOTOC__ Guang'anmen, also known as the , Guangningmen and Zhangyimen, was a city gate of old Beijing, constructed during the reign of the Jiajing Emperor (1521–1567) of the Ming Dynasty. This gate was part of Beijing's city wall, situated south-west of the city center and facing east. Guang'anmen served as a main entrance to Beijing. Beixinqiao Subdistrict
Beixinqiao Subdistrict () is a subdistrict in the northern part of Dongcheng District, Beijing, China. The Yonghe Temple is located here. The subdistrict consists of 10 communities. By 2020 it has a total population of 55,449. Beijing Subway Line 5 runs through the subdistrict. This area of land was called "Xingqiao" () During the Yuan dynasty, and was changed to "Beixingqiao" () in the Qing dynasty. Hepingli Subdistrict, Beijing
Hepingli Subdistrict () is a residential neighborhood and a subdistrict of Dongcheng District, Beijing. It is situated in the northeastern part of the city between the northern 2nd Ring Road and the northern 3rd Ring Road. The neighborhood is bordered by Andingmen Waidajie to the west and Hepingli Dongjie to the east. Hepingli has 102,227 residents in 2020, and comprises 20 residential areas () or zones. Most apartment buildings were built in the 1950s to 1960s. In the early 2000s, most buildings were repainted. Guomao, Beijing
Guomao () is an area in Beijing at the center of the Beijing central business district, demarcated by the intersection of Jianguomen Outer Street and the Third Ring Road. The Chinese World Trade Center is located there. It was formerly known as Dabeiyao (), and bus stops in the vicinity still bear this name. Guomao is also the name of the interchange station on Line 1 and Line 10. Fangzhuang
Fangzhuang Subdistrict () is a subdistrict and residential area in northern Fengtai District. It is bounded to the north and south by the 2nd and 3rd Ring Roads, and to the west and east by Tiantan Dong Lu and Fangzhuang Dong Lu. As of 2020, it has a population of 74,999. The subdistrict got its current name Fangzhuang () due to its historical origin as an estate of Fang family. History In 1951, three villages of this area (Puzhuang, Huangtuken and Yushu) merged to form the Puhuangyu Township. In 1958, it was incorporated into People's Commune of Nanyuan as Puhuangyu Production Team. Farmers left the region in 1984 as new residential areas were being constructed. Gongzhufen
Gongzhufen () is a major traffic and public transportation hub in the Haidian District of western Beijing, China. The name literally means "Tomb of the Princess". Gongzhufen lies at the intersection of the 3rd Ring Road and Fuxing Road. Prior to the mid-1990s, there was a traffic circle at the intersection. Today, traffic is handled by a three-level cloverleaf interchange. The area has several shopping centers, a bus terminal from which buses 32, 33, 64, 94, 370, 437, and 451 start, and the Gongzhufen Subway Station, which is served by Lines 1 and 10 of the Beijing Subway. Jianguomen (Beijing)
Jianguomen () was a gate in the city wall that once stood in Beijing and is now a transportation hub to the east of city centre. At Jianguomen bridge, the eastern 2nd Ring Road divides Jianguomen Inner Street to the west from Jianguomen Outer Street to the east. A sub-district, Jianguomen Subdistrict is named after the gate. History Jianguomen was not one of the 16 original gates in Beijing's 15th century Ming-era city wall. The gate was an opening on the east side of Beijing's inner city wall that was created in 1939 during the Japanese occupation of the city to enable access to the industrializing eastern suburbs of the city. Fuxingmen
Fuxingmen () is the name of a gate that used to be a part of Beijing's old city wall. It is also the name of a road situated in central Beijing and on the northwestern stretch of the 2nd Ring Road. Origin Fuxingmen means "Gate of Revival". An overpass over the ring road exists with the same name. Beijing subway lines 1 and 2 have an interchange stop at Fuxingmen Station. Several public buses serve the area as well. The commercial centres of Xidan and Beijing Financial Street are not far away. Fuxingmen also marks the western end of Fuxingmen Inner Street, which is a western extension of West Chang'an Avenue, and the eastern starting point of Fuxingmen Outer Street.
