Nehru Cup
The Nehru Cup was an international association football tournament organised by the All India Football Federation (AIFF), named after the first Prime Minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru. It was launched in 1982, but was not held from 1998 to 2006. After the trophy was won by Iraq in 1997, it was reinstated only in 2007 before officially being held last in 2012 and was replaced in 2017. Praful Manoharbhai Patel (born 17 February 1957) is an Indian Nationalist Congress Party politician, industrialist and sports administrator. He was the president of India's association football governing body the All India Football Federation (AIFF) from 2009 till 2022 when the Committee of Administrators (CoA) took over the interim administration following the appointment by the Supreme Court. He became the Asian Football Confederation's vice president of the SAFF region at the AFC Congress held in Bahrain in 2015. The North Korea national football team ( Munhwaŏ ko, 조선민주주의인민공화국 국가종합팀, recognized as Korea DPR by FIFA) represents North Korea in men's international football and it is controlled by the DPR Korea Football Association, the governing body for Football in North Korea. The team represents both FIFA and Asian Football Confederation (AFC). In their 1966 World Cup debut, North Korea reached the quarter-finals and beat Italy in the group stage becoming the first men's Asian team in history to make it past the group stage. ''Prabir Roy'' ( bn, প্রবীর রায় ; born 31 August 1948) is a Bengali producer, director, actor and a former Sheriff of Kolkata. He made his debut as a feature film maker with the film ''Kaal Madhumas''. Early life Roy is a commerce graduate from the University of Calcutta. He was a national level swimmer in his younger days. Gabriel González (Paraguayan Footballer)
Gabriel González Chaves (born 18 March 1961) is a former football player from Paraguay that used to play as a forward or attacking midfielder. Mostly known as "El Loco" González, he is one of the most recognized and loved players by fans of Club Olimpia of Paraguay. While playing for Olimpia, González won the Copa Libertadores, Supercopa Sudamericana, Recopa Sudamericana and several Paraguayan league titles, forming the feared Olimpia attacking trio of the early 1990s with teammates Adriano Samaniego and Raúl Vicente Amarilla. Emeka Ezeugo (born 16 December 1965) is a Nigerian former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He debuted as a professional footballer for Indian club East Bengal FC, has also represented the Nigeria national team in the FIFA World Cup. He last managed Abia Warriors FC as a football coach. Luis Alberto Monzón León (born 26 May 1970 in Asunción) is a retired football midfielder from Paraguay. Club career Monzón started his career in the youth divisions of Olimpia and made his professional debut at the age of 16. Club Olimpia is a Paraguayan sports club based in the city of Asunción.
