Neha Goyal
Neha Goyal (born 15 November 1996) is an Indian field hockey player and is a member of the India women's national field hockey team, India national team. She hails from Haryana and plays as the midfielder. Early life Goyal was born in Sonipat in Haryana. She comes from a poor family and has two elder sisters. Her father was a alcohol addict and her mother as a daily wage worker in a cycle factory earning ₹2000/month making spoke. She and her family have struggled to take care of her basic requirements like shoes, hockey sticks, diet regime, etc. Goyal started playing hockey when she was 11. Goyal began training in an academy run by former India captain Pritam Rani Siwach. Goyal completed her schooling from Tika Ram Senior Secondary Girls School. Career Goyal made her debut in the senior Indian national team in 2014 and played her first match in Glasgow during the FIH ''Champions Challenge.'' Sonipat
Sonipat is a city, municipal corporation and administrative headquarter in Sonipat district of Haryana state of India. It comes under the National Capital Region and is around from New Delhi. 2023 Women's Asian Champions Trophy
The 2023 Women's Asian Champions Trophy will be the seventh edition of the Women's Asian Champions Trophy, a biennial field hockey tournament for the six best Asian women's national teams organized by the Asian Hockey Federation. The 2018 Women's Hockey World Cup was the 14th edition of the Women's Hockey World Cup, a field hockey tournament. It was held from 21 July to 5 August 2018 at the Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre in London, England. Pritam Rani Siwach
Pritam Rani Siwach (born 2 October 1974) is a former captain of the Indian women's hockey team. In 2008, she was recalled to join the team for the Olympic qualifiers in order to bring an "additional wealth of experience." After the team did not qualify for the Olympics, Siwach stated in an interview, "We are not that bad as the results would show. It was simply a case of missed chances ..One difference between my times and now is the midfield. We had an experienced midfield with Sita Gussain at the centre. That helped us. Here, both T. H. Ranjita and Rosalind Ralte are young, just come into the team. They are potential youngsters, will only improve." She last played with the team when it won the Gold at the 2002 Commonwealth Games. The 2016 South Asian Games, officially the XII South Asian Games, is a major multi-sport event which took place from 5 February to 16 February 2016 in Guwahati and Shillong, India. A total of 2,672 athletes competed in 226 events over 22 sports. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 2016 South Asian Games in Guwahati on 5 February 2016. India continued its dominance in the game's medal tally with a staggering 308 medals including 188 gold medals.
