Catalina Margarita López Ramos (; June 21, 1924 – July 4, 2005), known professionally as Marga López, was an Argentine-born Mexican actress. Biography Born Catalina Margarita López Ramos in June 21st, 1924 in San Miguel de Tucumán, Argentina. Even though she was born in Argentina, she later acquired Mexican citizenship. Her parents were Pedro López Sánchez and Dolores Ramos Nava. She had six siblings: Juan, Miguel, Dolores, Pedro, María and Manuel. She debuted in show business in her home country as a child, with her siblings, in the group known as Los Hermanitos López. In 1936, the group journeyed through Latin America including Mexico. There she met her future husband Carlos Amador, a cinema producer, whom she married twice, in 1941 and in 1961. They had two children, Carlos and Manuel. Rita Aurelia Fulcida Montaner y Facenda (20 August 1900 – 17 April 1958), known as Rita Montaner, was a Cuban singer, pianist and actress. In Cuban parlance, she was a '' vedette'' (a star), and was well known in Mexico City, Paris, Miami and New York, where she performed, filmed and recorded on numerous occasions. She was one of Cuba's most popular artists between the late 1920s and 1950s, renowned as ''Rita de Cuba''. Though classically trained as a soprano for zarzuelas, her mark was made as a singer of Afro-Cuban salon songs including "The Peanut Vendor" and " Siboney". Freddy Fernández (actor)
Alfredo Jesús Fernández Sáenz (January 16, 1934 – May 10, 1995) was a Mexican film and television actor, nicknamed El Pichi. Fernández was born in Mexico City, the only son of Alfredo Fernández and Elisa Sáenz Rojas. As a youth, he joined the Children's Fine Arts Theatre Company of Fine Arts under the direction of Clementina Otero. The nickname "El Pichi" was given to Fernández by producer Luis Manrique during the making of the film '' Callejera'' in 1949. He received the Virginia Fábregas medal from National Association of Actors (ANDA) for his 25 year career and was nominated three times for an Ariel Award. His son is Alfredo Fernández ("El Pato"). He died on May 10, 1995, of esophageal cancer in Mexico City, aged 61. His remains were buried in Cozumel, Quintana Roo, his son's garden. Originally, Trio Los Panchos are a '' trío romántico'' formed in New York City in 1944 by Alfredo Gil, Chucho Navarro, and Hernando Avilés. The trio became one of the leading exponents of the bolero and the romantic ballad in Latin America.
