Adam Michael Neely (born 1988) is an American YouTuber, bassist, and composer. His YouTube channel is described as containing " music theory, music cognition, jazz improvisation, musical performance technique, musicology and memes". He also creates "Gig Vlogs", which give insight into his life as a professional musician in New York City. As a musician, he performs as a solo artist, as a session musician, and as a member of a number of New York City-based ensembles, including the electro-jazz duo Sungazer (along with drummer Shawn Crowder), and the jazz bands Adam Neely's Jazz School and Aberdeen. Education Adam Neely graduated from Berklee College of Music with a B.A in Jazz Composition in 2009 and in 2012, received a Masters of Music in Jazz Composition from The Manhattan School of Music as directed under Jim McNeely. Sam Neely
Sam Neely (August 22, 1948 – July 19, 2006) was an American country music, country and folk music musician, singer-songwriter, recording artist, and performer. Born in Cuero, Texas, Cuero, Texas, Neely began playing guitar at age ten. After moving with his family to Corpus Christi, Texas, Corpus Christi, Texas, he began playing in bands, including local group, Buckle. He made an appearance on the ''Merv Griffin Show'' in 1968 and was asked to write a song for the film, ''Tilt (1979 film), Tilt''; though the movie was not released until 1978, it did include Neely's track, "Long Road to Texas".[ Sam Neely] at Allmusic Neely scored a string of minor hits in the 1970s on the country and pop charts and released a few albums which saw sales success. In 1978, he moved back to Corpus Christi and became the house musician for the Electric Eel. In 1983, he made a comeback on MCA Records. The Frank H. Neely Nuclear Research Center, also known as the Neely Research Reactor and the Georgia Tech Research Reactor was a nuclear engineering research center on the Georgia Institute of Technology campus, which housed a 5 megawatt heavy water moderated and cooled research reactor from 1961 until 1995. It was decommissioned in November 1999. The building that housed the reactor was demolished to make way for the Marcus Nanotechnology Research Center. The center is named for Frank H. Neely, a Georgia Tech graduate and businessman who organized the first Georgia Nuclear Advisory Commission, an essential step in the creation of the reactor and associated facilities.
