Needhikku Thalaivanangu
''Needhikku Thalaivanangu'' () is a 1976 Indian Tamil-language film directed by P. Neelakantan, starring M. G. Ramachandran and Latha. It is a remake of the Telugu film ''Neramu Siksha'' (1973). The film was released on 18 March 1976 and became a box office success. Plot Vijay, who lives with his parents, leaves home one day as his father insults him. While he is fleeing his home, he comes across a girl whom he adopts as his sister, and begins work on improving her life. In the course of time, he commits a mistake, which leads to several consequences. He also meets a young woman and falls in love with her. As a reformed person who realises his mistakes, he makes amends in many ways, and in order to please everyone, he ends up sacrificing everything, including his life. Cast *M. G. Mannava Balayya (9 April 1930 – 9 April 2022) was an Indian actor, writer, director and producer in Telugu cinema. He acted in 300 films. Early life and career Mannava Balayya, was born at Chavupadu, Amaravathi mandalam, Guntur district to Mannava Annapurnamma, Guravayya Chowdary. He studied Engineering B.E. (mechanical) in Guindy Engineering College, Chennai. Inspired by the drama during his college days, Balayya ventured into movies with guidance from Tapi Chanakya. The Federation of Tamil Sangams in North America (FeTNA) is a non-profit organization of Tamil organizations in the United States and Canada. Tiruchirapalli Srinivasan Rangarajan, professionally credited by his pseudonym Vaali (born 29 October 1931 – 18 July 2013) was an Indian poet who is the highest songs wrote lyricist in cinema and whose works were in Tamil, had a five-decade long association with the Tamil film industry, wrote over 15,000 songs. Pulavar Pulamaipithan (6 October 1935 – 8 September 2021) was an Indian scholar, poet and lyricist who got recognition through the song "Naan yaar nee yaar" which was featured in the Tamil film ''Kudiyirundha Koyil'' in 1968. He briefly served as the presidium chairman of AIADMK from 2002 to 2003, when he resigned citing ill-health. Biography Pulamaipithan was born in Irugur, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu on 6 October 1935. A ''raga'' or ''raag'' (; also ''raaga'' or ''ragam''; ) is a melodic framework for improvisation in Indian classical music akin to a melodic mode. Arumugam Mohanasundaram (8 February 1928 – 16 September 2012), popularly known as Loose Mohan and Raja Gopalakrishnan, was an Indian actor who had acted as a comedian in over 1000 Tamil films. He is credited with popularizing Madras Bashai, a Cockney of Tamil language spoken in Chennai city.
