Necros Christos
Necros Christos (Greek language, Greek νεκρός Χριστός for 'Dead Christ') was a German death doom band from Berlin. The band was founded in 2001 and is under contract to Ván Records. The group has released three studio albums. History The band released three demo and two rehearsal recordings as well as several EPs and singles in the first years. Actually, the first demo ''Necromantic Doom'' should be the band's only release. In 2006, the band got signed by Sepulchral Voice Records, and a year later, the debut album ''Triune Impurity Rites'' was released.Frank Stöver''NECROS CHRISTOS''. Soon, the drummer Luciferus Christhammer left the band and was replaced by Raelin Iakhu. Necros Christos Party
Necros was an early American hardcore punk band from Maumee, Ohio, although they are usually identified with the Detroit, Michigan, Detroit music scene. They were the first band to record for Touch and Go Records. History Necros was formed in mid-1975 by then-teenagers Barry Henssler (vocals), Andy Wendler (guitar), and Todd Swalla (drums). After going through a handful of bassists (including Donny Brook, Jeff Allsop, David Cooke, Brian Hyland, Jeff Lake, and Brian Pollack), Corey Rusk joined the band. Barry Henssler had struck up a friendship with Tesco Vee and Dave Stimson of ''Touch and Go'' magazine after sending them a copy of his own 'zine, ''Smegma Journal''. Vee and Stimson became fans and put out the band's first record, a self-titled 4-song 7" EP (recorded prior to Rusk joining) most commonly known as "Sex Drive". Teitanblood is a Spanish extreme metal band formed in 2003. Based in Madrid, the band currently consists of NSK (vocals, guitar, bass) and J (drums). The band released its debut album, ''Seven Chalices'' in 2009. Its follow-up, ''Death'', was released 13 May 2014 via The Ajna Offensive and Norma Evangelium Diaboli record labels. The latter record was included on Decibel magazine’s list of ''Top 40 Albums Of 2014'' as number 26. Teitanblood's music is generally labeled as death metal and black metal. The band's debut was described by BrooklynVegan as "the most discordant, destructive, and ultimately unfucwitable blackened death in a long time", and their follow-up album was labeled by Pitchfork as "a weaponized hybrid of the two genres". Apocrypha are works, usually written, of unknown authorship or of doubtful origin. The word ''apocryphal'' (ἀπόκρυφος) was first applied to writings which were kept secret because they were the vehicles of esoteric knowledge considered too profound or too sacred to be disclosed to anyone other than the initiated.
