Neck Deep
Neck Deep are a Welsh pop punk band from Wrexham, Wales formed in 2012. Founded after vocalist Ben Barlow met former lead guitarist Lloyd Roberts, the pair posted a song ("What Did You Expect?") online under the name Neck Deep. The song soon gained attention online, resulting in the addition of rhythm guitarist Matt West, drummer Dani Washington/Abasi, and bassist Fil Thorpe-Evans. They released a pair of EPs, ''Rain in July'' (2012) and ''A History of Bad Decisions'' (2013), both recorded by Barlow's older brother, before signing with Hopeless in August 2013. Following the release of their debut album ''Wishful Thinking'' in January 2014, the band became a full-time project, with the band members leaving their jobs and/or dropping out of university courses. ''Rain in July'' is the first EP by Welsh pop punk band Neck Deep. Background and production Vocalist Ben Barlow met lead guitarist Lloyd Roberts when Barlow's older brother, Seb, was recording the Wrexham hardcore band Spires that Roberts played in. At the time, Ben Barlow wrote pop punk songs on his own for fun.Bird 2014, p. 59 On 19 April 2012 the duo posted the song "What Did You Expect?" online under the name Neck Deep. Wrexham
Wrexham ( ; cy, Wrecsam; ) is a city and the administrative centre of Wrexham County Borough in Wales. The Academy of Contemporary Music (ACM) is a music academy in Guildford, Surrey, England providing contemporary music-based courses. Blood Youth
Blood Youth are an English hardcore punk band formed in Harrogate in 2014. They have released three studio albums, two EPs and a short-form documentary produced by Kerrang!. The current line-up consists of guitarist Chris Pritchard, bassist Matt Hollinson, drummer Brad Ratcliffe and lead vocalist Harry Rule. The band were formed in 2014 by the final line-up of Leicester melodic hardcore band Climates and former Book of Job vocalist Kaya Tarsus. Their earliest releases made use of a melodic style of heavy metal-influenced hardcore punk, while their post-2018 output has veered closer to the nu metal genre. Andrew Robert Wade (born August 4, 1984) is an American recording engineer and music producer. Early years and A Wish for Marilynne (2002–2006) In August 2002, Wade started playing guitar and singing lead vocals in Christian rock/emo band A Wish for Marilynne. Seaway is a Canadian rock band from Oakville, Ontario signed to Pure Noise Records and Dine Alone Records. The band has released three EPs and four studio albums. History Formation and early releases (2011–2013) Seaway formed in 2011 in Oakville, Ontario, consisting of Ryan Locke on lead vocals, Patrick Carleton on rhythm guitar and vocals, Andrew Eichinger on lead guitar, Adam Shoji on bass, and Ken Taylor on drums. Blitz Kids were an English alternative rock band originating from Nantwich and Crewe, Cheshire, England. History The band was formed in 2006 by original members Joe James, Jono Yates, Nic Montgomery, Billy Evanson and Eddie Hawx. The band was initially named "Rig Up Explosive", but the name was changed to Blitz Kids in 2009. The name meaning was explained to be inspired by Joe's grandfather who was in a gang who named themselves 'Blitz Kids' during the events of World War II.
