Ndonga Linena Constituency
Ndonga Linena Constituency is an electoral constituency in the Kavango East Region of Namibia. It was created in August 2013, following a recommendation of the ''Fourth Delimitation Commission of Namibia'', and in preparation of the 2014 general election. The administrative centre of Ndonga Linena Constituency is the settlement of Ndonga Linena. Ndonga Linena was formed from the western part of the Ndiyona Constituency. the constituency had 6,597 registered voters. Politics The 2015 regional elections were won by Petrus Muyenga Kavhura of SWAPO. He received 2,623 votes. Nelson Joseph Murora of the Democratic Turnhalle Alliance (DTA) came second with 225 votes. The SWAPO candidate also won the 2020 regional election. Michael Shiwana Kampota obtained 1,073 votes, narrowly ahead of Balthazar Daniel Djami of the All People's Party (APP), who obtained 1,061 votes. Namibian Local And Regional Elections, 2015
Namibia held elections for their local and regional councils on 27 November 2015. Ballots were cast using electronic voting. Electoral system Elections to regional councils are held using the first-past-the-post electoral system. Voters in each constituency elect one councillor to represent them on their regional council. Local authority councillors are elected by a system of proportional representation. All People's Party (Namibia)
The All People's Party (APP) is a political party in Namibia. Registered with the Electoral Commission of Namibia in January 2008, the party was initially made up primarily of former members of the Congress of Democrats and SWAPO political parties. Among the initial leaders were Chairperson Ignatius Shixwameni and Deputy Chairperson Stephanus Swartbooi. Ignatius Shixwameni, who had led the party since 2009, died on 10 November 2021. Democratic Turnhalle Alliance
The Popular Democratic Movement (PDM), formerly the Democratic Turnhalle Alliance (DTA), is an amalgamation of political parties in Namibia, registered as one singular party for representation purposes. The most populous constituency according to the 2011 census was Rundu Urban in the Kavango West region with 63,431 people; the least populous was Okatyali in the Oshana region with 3,187 people. Ndiyona Constituency
Ndiyona is a constituency in the Kavango East region of Namibia. The district centre is the settlement of Ndiyona. It had a population of 20,633 in 2011, up from 19,565 in 2001. the constituency had 6,210 registered voters. Ndiyona constituency until 2013 belonged to the Kavango Region.
